This car is DEFECTIVE!
The car was supposed to be handed over to me on the 29th January 2018 but was being delayed to 1 week later due to a "programming issue" according to the sales advisor Mr.Mac of HZN Glenmarie, whom is also my neighbor who attended to me in the whole process of purchasing this vehicle.Please do take note that he had done his job and we appreciated his effort.
The real issue here is the CAR, not your sales advisor or the service centre.
For the record, this car is driven by both my husband and me. Our nightmare began on the 27th August 2018 when one day during driving along Klang Utama, the car suddenly slowed down, and all the warning indicator lights appeared on the speedometer. Although low in power, my husband managed to drive the car to the nearest service centre which was Tiong Nam at Setia Alam.
After checking, Tiong Nam said it was the gearbox sensor issue and that they would replaced a new one under warranty. We got our car 3 days later, and the advisor even assured my husband that this problem would not re-occur since they had replaced a NEW sensor.
This problem re-occurred after almost 1 month later when my husband was driving this car on the Elite Highway on the 26th September night at around 8.45pm. He was driving in the middle lane at around 100km/hour when the gearbox bounced and the car jerked violently! The car was nearly knocked by oncoming cars from behind! This time this car had to be towed away! My husband was so terrified with this whole episode that he is considering of making a police report now.
We have completely lost confidence in this vehicle and we want it to be replaced with a NON-HYBRID 1.5L V model.
I urge Honda Malaysia to call me ASAP!
