Invalid warranty claim
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I, Chandra Loha A/P Govindasamy, am the owner of a Honda City S Plus Saloon withbearing the number plate AKH 6671.This vehicle was purchased in Honda Tian Siang, Ipoh on February 2016.Recently, I encountered problems when starting the ignition and after around ten unsuccessful attempts (this happens intermittently), only then I could heave a huge sigh of relief.Suspecting something amiss and to avoid imminent problems, I made an immediate visit to Honda Multipac Rawang, as its the closest Honda Service Centre to my home.I was truly appalled when the service advisor said that my starter motor assembly was clogged, and my warranty claim lease for that particular part is now null and void.I had never missed any service hitherto, and the first service was done in Honda Tian Siang itself.Upon arriving at Rawang ( my permanent residence now ),I serviced the vehicle again and the mileage then was 10231km.Attached herewith are the copy of my service receipts.The mileage just outside the vicinity of Honda Multipac Rawang was 12330km, that is right before the starter motor assembly was replaced.Now, my question is simple and concise.Why should I have to pay RM924.45 and duly heed that my warranty claim for that particular part is invalid? Not when I seldom use it and only drive around the nearby town.This is a substantial sum for a typical layman like me.In retrospect, I fervently believe that my warranty claim lease is still valid.With no blatant disregard to the quality of todays Honda and with utmost respect to the sheer satisfaction that it brings, I strongly hope that you will dig deep into your reserves and ponder at every point that I brought up and kindly revert to me at earliest.I thank you for your kind indulgence and precious time.
