When I was arrested my worried father paid Howard E. Tanner Esq. to defend me and fight my criminal charges for possession of a small dime bag of coke. I can tell you right now, this doofy cracker lawyer doesn't like Black folks. He be real racist. He be talking down to me as if I was a second case citizen. Man, because I'm a Black female he told me to cop a plea. He told me if I was White, I would stand a real good chance of being found not guilty at trial. But, because of the color of my skin I was better off pleading guilty and take 30 days in jail. His reasoning was Black folks always scare the jurors. Oh hell no, I got me Harlem Defenders Service (free lawyers for Black folks) and got a sweet deal from the judge. I have to stay out of trouble for 6 months and the charges are dismissed. Oh yeah baby !!!

Screw Howard Tanner that racist. All he wanted was my dad's money and the quickest way to end my case was to plea guilty ?? Ah no way, I wasn't gonna let this lawyer do the least work and make the most money. I called the NAACP and had my Black lawyer do the same. Surprise, surprise, Howard Tanner is listed on the NAACP's black list as a racist lawyer and they are advising African Americans not to hire any lawyer on their black list. If you Black call the NAACP for advice. Just don't rush and hire any lawyer.
