I have a fridge freezer which is now a year old. At the time of purchase I did an extended warranty. For the past few days have been having problems with my fridge freezer and this started last week Friday the 10.8.12. My fridge freezer just started making this loud and funny noise. I switched it off and back on Saturday, still no luck then off again till Sunday. Tried it on Sunday but the noise continued till Monday. I then decided to switch off and call comet Tuesday morning at 9 am on this numbers 08712009009 which I had to hold on for about half an hour. I got through and I was told I'm in the wrong department. she then gave me another number which is 01275336077,08712009009,'08448242526. I spoke to a guy and he said I need a referral number before they could send an engineer and he told me to go back again and call another no. I asked him can't it be dealt with he said no. He then asked are u the lady that called about 10 mins ago I said yes. Started all over again and eventually i spoke to a lady who gave me the agreement no 700046019 and ref 7053948. now to book the appointment i just couldn't do this. It took me almost 2 hours to get an engineer to come round and check my Fridge Freezer and still no solution. And remember these number have been calling are not free. How can people be treated like this. What is the pont in having an extended Warranty when there's no help and your team are not ready to listen or help u.Your customer service is very poor and its unacceptable they don't even have the patience to listen to me by the time I'm explaining my self they have put me thorough to the automated system which is very wrong. I have 6 different Numbers in the end i gave up because i was ruining up my bill and no solution. This is very shameful for a big company I still dont know where i stand because my fridge freezer is still not working.

I have a 18MTH old top of the range hotpoint washing machine £700, I am absolutely appauled that this machine has completely shut down after just a short time. The repair guy came out without the parts to fix it which again I find incredible especially when they asked me on the phone the model of the machine and what the problem was, what kind of workman goes out to repair a job without the parts. I called the complaints department which actually didn't do anything. Once again I am disgusted with not only the machine but also the service. I will never buy hotpoint again

just got a hotpoint fridge with a 5 year parts guarantee phoned them to activate it then to mend it if broke they send some on to fix it with a large bill its a con i will never get a hotpoint appliance again its a con
