I was in a car accident and I sued the other party. I was awarded $20,000 but the insurance company wrote out the check to my lawyer's escow account. The check was made payable to Howard Tanner Esq. I went to his office after not hearing from him for 10 months and his office is closed. He went out of business. I was told by the insurance company that he did cash my check. He was suppose to give me my award money but he be nowhere to be found.

I knew these ambulance chasing lawyers were dishonest but I never thought this lawyer would skip town.
