THIS COMPANY PULLED MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! APPARENTLY THEY ARE SOMEHOW LINKED TO OFFICE DEPOT AS I MADE A PURCHASE ON OCT 16TH THEY PULLED $1.97 AND THEN ON OCT 24TH THEY PULLED $9.97. BE AWARE OFFICE DEPOT SOMEHOW LINKED THEM TO ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION! I WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH THEM NEXT. I DID CALL SHOP SMARTER AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD CANCEL IT AND RETURN MY MONEY...W'ELL SEE!

Brian said when you buy from a store that they collaborate with, it already makes a subscription for IC SHOPSMARTER. So I cancelled my subscription (that I didn't make) and he gave me a credit for the $9.97. I will call my bank to make sure of it. So the next time you buy anything online or anywhere ask if they collaborate with IC SHOPSMARTER. Also, make sure to check your statement every month. These people are SCAMMERS!! How can this be legal???

this scam co. is taking money from my credit card, they say they will cancel, but for another month, guess they are truly hurting for my 9.97 a month. how they stole my xcard info. I don't know, will call my credit card co. next total scam who ever they are.

I have no idea what this company is or what they do or if anyone even enjoys whatever service they provide, but I sure don't.

It all started when I looked at my bank account for a completely different reason, and noticed one of my most recent transactions was a reoccurring payment to shopsmarter.com for $12.97. I am not one to check my bank account regularly and all of the transactions made, so DISCLAIMER: I do understand that this could have been taken care of a long time ago if I had done so. I contacted my bank to report the fraudulent activity, and a week or so later I was notified that I was being reimbursed, but only for the last 90 days. After that I did a deep dive into my bank account to see how long this company has been stealing my money and the farthest back my account would let me go was 02/2018. I had no choice but to contact shopsmarter to get the rest of money refunded. Upon asking for the refund (& giving them a piece of my mind) I also asked how long I have been a "member" so that I could verify the refund was the correct amount (which they did issue me). It took them 3 emails of beating around the bush for them to finally tell me that I "joined" in January of 2017. WTF!!! I am so ashamed for not catching this WAY sooner....but WTF!! That's 2 and a half years they've been scamming me. I'm a college student who works part time and in the time frame that they've been stealing my money I've even had a baby! So now I'm a part time employee, full time student, and full time mom. $12.97 a month doesn't really stand out to me. But now that they owe me over $400, I'm beyond pissed.

On top of that, after being issued the refund I asked them how they planned on refunding me since they didn't ask me and the card they've been stealing from was closed because of their fraudulent activity. The response was pretty much that the refund was going to the card on file (the cancelled one) and it was processed so call my bank and figure it out. What customer service. I called my bank and thankfully they said it could still be transferred to my new card, but instead of taking the usual 5-7 business days, it could take up to 15. THANKS, SHOPSMARTER.COM

I don't even know what subscription I signed with the website. It automatically deducted money from my bank account for ten months. I never authorized it and even didn't use the website. I want to asked for the refund of all the amount.

IC Shopsmart is an online scam linked to online stores like BathBedAndBeyond, where IC ShopSmart snatches your credit card information to defray costs for enrollment in a monthly service without the actual consent of the buyer. The buyer unknowingly becomes enrolled until he realizes that he has been taken advantage. However, IC ShopSmart resolves the matter to anyone who calls them to unenroll and have one’s money reimbursed in a timely fashion. We can only imagine that innumerable unsuspecting victims are taken advantage, particularly anyone who remains oblivious to the scam.

I have been changed £9.97 without authorisation and I WANT MY MONEY BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! This is fraud and I don’t accept it! So put the money back as soon as you get this if you want troubles!
