On 5 November 2023, 12am plus. I was returning back to Singapore from JB with my family(wife and 8 years old daughter). When we were queuing up at the arrival manual counter for passport verification, a young ICA officer stood up from the counter and shouted rudely at us to move to the automatic counter.
I inquired politely if we needed to go to the long queue automatic counter as i was with my 8 years old daughter. As my daughter is too little to use the automatic counter by herself. The young ICA officer replied loudly and harshly “YES!”
As we were about to leave and go to the automatic counter, I realized that there were 2 families (Chinese and Indian) queuing behind us who were able to get past the manual counter. I felt unfair and racist. I went up to ask the young ICA officer why we weren't allowed to access the manual counter. He replied rudely with a face of discrimination. “YOU JUST GO OVER THERE!” I told him that my daughter is too little to use the automatic machine and it is very crowded and unsafe for her. The young ICA officer exclaimed boastfully “THAT IS YOUR OWN ISSUE! IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN THIS IS MY NAME!” pointing at his ICA polo shirt. Then he turned and walked away.
I am severely disappointed with this young ICA officer’s attitude and the discrimination my family felt. Where is the mutual respect and understanding that ICA have? My daughter has been having nightmares ever since then. She is traumatized by the rude and scary ICA officer and unable to move on.
We have already sent an official letter of complaint to the minister's office about this unpleasant incident and we demand an apology from ICA. Thank You.

Hope motorbike clearance in woodland can be improve, no matter come in / going out to Singapore. Wondering manual counter always will be the priority Q for rider instead of thumb counter. Sometimes short of man power in manual counter, some of officer will continue force rider kept Q into manual counter which is more than one hour to reach counter. Rider are not allow to on engine while Q, rider only allow to push motorbike before reach manual counter. Do any officer know how heavy for one motorbike? When rider must kept push in long distance before reach counter? Car always allow to use three lane while going out from Singapore. No one caring how worst atmosphere that rider need to face. Hence, hope this situation will be consider by dear ICA.

All the way, using sign language, asked me to proceed with thumb printing. As it was my first time being there, I didn't know how long I have to place my thumbs there. He signaled to put down my thumbs and showed me his palm. I didn't know whether that was a sign for stop or wait. As he didn't speak. Then he asked to proceed again with the thumb printing. I placed my thumbs there and was surprised when he knocked his stamp on the desk and told me "5 seconds only eh?! Only 5 seconds you put your thumbs there!". I answered "How should I know? There's no label there and you wouldn't talk to me." And he said "Eh, I gave you a signal tapi you buat BODOH jer!". I said "Oh, reti pulak cakap? Then cakap je lah. Why the rudeness? Dah la orang kasi salam tak jawab." And he said "Eh, walaupun nama ni Effendy, tapi dekat sini, no such thing as being Muslim ke apa. This is immigration!! You are HERE! This is a multiracial country!!" So I answered, "Yes! I know. I'm from a multiracial country as well. Thank You!"

The thing is, why was he being so rude? Not that I was rude to him. I didn't throw my passport at him. I entered your country legally. Why the rude service? We queued patiently. I didn't complain. Still smiled at him upon reaching his counter. What was his problem? If that's the way how he treated everyone as if he's working at the Mexican border and had to shoot at those illegal immigrants, then I think I'd understand his situation that he had to be dead strict. He should know that working as a front-liner, although you're an officer wearing a uniform, it doesn't hurt to smile or greet. Even the Australian immigration officers who are known to be strict can still greet and TALK. What was this Effendy trying to prove? I think if you put a robot there, it is much better since we know that robots don't have to empathize or sympathize us humans cos they have no feelings. I understand that he's tired. WELL, AIN'T ALL OF US??!!!?? D-uh! And his defensive feedback on my salaam complaint was superbly nonsense. Ko Islam, ko jawab salam. Orang doakan kesejahteraan. Bukan doa ko masok neraka.

And is the feedback form on ICA official website dedicated to Singaporeans only? There's no other number than the SG 'contact no'.

I am working in Singapore and travel in and out for few years. There are a lots of attitude issue regarding ICA officers. I done my complaint once and submitted to ICA Official website, but seems does not have any improvement. Anyway, the topic of this complaint is regarding ICA officer sleeping issue. Are those officers lack of sleep everyday? They should keep themselves wide awake during their duty! What consequence if a suspicious person entering to Singapore? Also when the officer feel sleepy, the whole lane will be slowed down and result in crowded situation. Really hope ICA can look serious into this issue.

I am working as a ground staff in terminal 1,on 7 May at about 0830 am in the morning I escorted a minor at the special lane ,which is at counter 1 . When I see that counter number 2 is available which is occupied by a malay ica Officer I brought him there ,instead of telling me politely that I should only go to counter one ,he told me in a loud voice that I should queue which I did ,it’s just that I thought he can assist since I’m escorting a minor ,I apologise to him as i didn’t know that it’s only counter number 1 ,instead he shouted at his colleague at counter 3 in malay “APA SAJE SI BODOH NI”,infront of the passengers showing unprofessionalism .First I am a malay and I understand what he is talking ,secondly he doesn’t need to display rudeness when I’m not even rude to him ,thirdly if he is not capable of showing respect I don’t think he is capable enough to be an ICA Officer ,yes I know that due to the nature of their job they need to be firm but that doesn’t mean he have to talk like a gangster which display a bad image of singapore .FYI I am in the process of bringing this up to the prime minister as this is not the first time , ICA Officers used their authority against innocence people.I do know some ICA Officer who is very professional in handling their job , these kind of people don’t deserve to be in the front line handling passengers.

I stayed in a hostel which is in geylang , the owner is my friend (GAGAN Gill) boss . GAGAN is a student and he is doing job under his . One day GAGAN suggest to me a hostel . After seeing hostel I agreed to stay over there . On my second day Mr . Ganesh (who is owner of this hostel and also boss of GAGAN ) called and said to me come in his office . The office located in his hostel . I went there , he stopped me out of the office and asked for sit . After few minutes he was very frank with me , he asked me to join his modelling company I denied , he was showing me his nude girls friends . And pressing my thighs .. I just went back in my room with anger .. next day I talked about his nature with GAGAN .. GAGAN said to me if you will complain to anyone then he will dismiss me from job as well as you will lost your room also . Next day my interview I was full busy , the other next day I did decide to leave my room early morning . After leaving I just msz to Mr. Ganesh (owner) to give my money back , i need my money because I have to give money my new room owner so that's why I was calling him and three times message him . GAGAN said to me if I will spend one night with both of them , boss will give my money back . I said to GAGAN that I m going to police station to report against you and your boss . The boss said to me , he will insult me in front of my college and will make trouble in my OJT ...!! And the same happens with me .. now I don't have OJT even college gave to me notice already that they will not give my OJT. ..

So I just want to know , there is what my fault .. it was my fault that I denied to spend night with them or that was my mistake I wanted my money back because I only stayed there four days with toture .


2 ) = one guy (Rajveer) who is studying in our college was making me fool by using Mr. Shane (our OJT councler) name .. he calling me Neha today is your interview pls come at banana leaf I did same ... That happened four times continue four days ... I complaint in our college , college didn't take any action ... I was full angry with that fake guy , I just msz him that I will complain against you to my principal ... !! The same he went college and complaint against to me without any proof that I m threaten him and all but nothing like that , that was not true , I showed his message to my teacher .. but as always they took his side and I proved culprit ...

Some of these type of activities , someone threaten me , someone kept my money , still in the college one of mam said to me BICYCLE ( anyone can ride on me ) her clear words for me whether I was not wrong .. I want justice many times from college , but always at the end I m culprit ... And now college not giving me OJT .. then why GAGAN , Rajveer types of guys are doing work as part time or full time easily ... !! This is the justice with a girl in Singapore ??????
GAGAN is the partner of Mr Ganesh who was my owner , they are supplying girls in Singapore .. they want to me supply when I did fight , they reached in my college with fake story and college cancelled my OJT. ...

On 27 September 2017 around 10.30 am, we were queueing at Tuas Checkpoint counter 31 and noted that the counter was exceptionally slow compared to the other counters. When it was our turn, we noticed the officer, Mazrul Shadley, was busy chatting with his peer which resulted in the slow line. We hope that ICA could imrove on this. Thank you.

As for PR application process in Australia, I need a Certificate of Clearance(COC) from Singapore Police Force (SPF) so did request to recall my FIN which I was in Singapore few years ago to complete my order from SPF requirements. However, what I received just a sentence that ICA cant support and provide it for me. While my university cant recall this number due to long time ago and it is compulsory number to process COC from SPF. I did write email and seek support for this one, also called embassy of Singapore in Australia but they all refused. I really wonder why it is so difficult to recall that number which belongs to me. I also raise solution that I might book flight ticket to Singapore and arrange appointment with ICA but you also refused to help. All of my great memories about ICA and Singapore becomes bad now. And I know many old foreign students who apply for other countries PR cant recall this number so should you guide us how to recall this one in fastest way?

my Indian boy friend came to singapore in VISIT PASS to searching a job in last month.in Singapore airport ica persons enquired and checked him and his things and also take fingerprints.finally they told"we thing you came to singapore for searching a job.it is illegal.you stay only one month in Singapore.so you don't extend your visa and don't apply any company for a job in Singapore.if you applied any company or extend your visa for another one month,we will blocked your entry in Singapore for next 2 years".then after 2 weeks he apply to extend the visa in online.the system display YOUR PROCESS WAS UNSUCCESSFUL.not extend another month.then he returned to india.NOW MY QUESTION IS is he apply S pass for Singapore?is it possible to get S pass or work permit pass?or his entry was block for 2 years???please give correct solutions lah........
