I have a Resident account with ICICI and ICICIDIRECT I wanted to convert my Res. Account in to a NRO account OR to open a NRO Account after closing my Res.Account. I sent an e-mail to
[email protected]. I received a reply asking me to follow certain procedure. I tried as directed to down load a 3 in 1 form. Their web site is not allowing me to down load the form. I sent a mail explaining my problem. I received a mail from another person telling me to follow a similar procedure as earlier ,with out going through my problem. This went on for few times and I was getting replies ,every time from a different person ,without under standing what is my problem.
I contacted a Relationship Manager whose Mobile Number was in my Account page. I explained to him about my problem. He was very polite and promised to sort out my problem soon. But he was not doing anything. When ever I contacted him , he was not picking up his phone, or if he picks up , he is busy in a meeting , he was not in his office etc.One day when I got him he told me he will sort out my problem in another three days. I contacted him after five days. I told him ' I am not asking for a loan from ICICI Bank. all I am asking is to open a NRO account '. Then he said he will send a mail to me in a few hours to explain the procedure.I did not get any mails from him.
I am at a loss to know what to do. I am a Senior citizen and since I started living in UK because of certain family circumstances, I have become an NRI and necessity has come to open my NRO account. ICICI is stone walling me.
Where as my experience with Canara Bank and Axis Bank is totally different. An AGM from Canara Bank has contacted me by phone and helped me so nicely. Similarly a Relationship manager from Axis Bank called me and helped me so very well
I have my major account with ICICI and ICICIDIRECT. How to get help (Sic ) from them?
