Poor Attitude

My family of 5 entered Johor a few hours ago. We've have been served by an Imigration Officer, male and have a Sabah accent. As we are driving a 7 seater car, both my kids are seated at the back of the car. 1 is on her car seat and the other is not. Upon calling for my daughter who was on her car seat, my daughter aged 4 years old is unable to stand up or show her face clearly to the Immigration Officer as she was tight with her seat belt. But the Immigration Officer did not understand and just wanted my daughter to response. My husband move the car slightly ahead so that my daughter face could be seen clearly but unfortunately it still can't. So I have asked the Immigration Officer to get out from his counter to check on my daughter. Since then he was unhappy and started to show off his tantrum. He did asked us to find another counter and get out from there. He keep on saying I was rude!

My question, am I rude to asked him to get out from his counter to check on my daughter since he can't see my daughter face clearly? Am I supposed to unbuckle my daughter's seat belt just for the sake of my daughter's face to be shown clearly to this Immigration Officer? By asking us to find another counter, does that show his professionalism of his title as an Immigration Officer? Please note that we travel by car and not by an individual having to stand near the counter. What is his protocol as an Immigration Officer. When he is not happy, he told us to go away and find another counter. Does he know that we are in a middle of somewhere where it is impossible for us to u-turn? The cars behind are all waiting and he behaving like someone who just been ditched by his wife! To add on, he even said this is not how I am supposed to behave when I enter Johor Bahru. My point is that, he is not in a position to judge or to reject my application from entering Johor Bahru. I just merely asked him to get out from his counter, or probably stand up or just move his body to an angle where he can see my daughter who is just 4 years old. Is than a difficult thing to do for an Immigration Officer? His job is not just to sit down and chopped. But he need to do a verification? Am I right?

Well, such a poor aggresive attitude is just not fit to be in this line of work. He called me being rude many times, but he forget himself being rude too. Even after my husband apologising to him twice because we wanted to move on and stop this argument, he still reluctant of accepting the fact to forget and carry on his duty of work.

A guy came to Johor to work for a living, but failed to follow his protocol. He uses his power of authority against public. But he forget that I have my rights against him.

Please adequate such people. I guess he is just lack of upbringing.

Immigration custom JB Officer service quality

Hi

As we were passing through checkpoint to singapore, we were served by this officer Khairul.

At first, my husband passed him the passports and he refused to take the passport. As.such, we put it on the counter.

Then, he slowly took the passport. While he checked on the passport, my kids were sleeping due.to the massive jam. Then,he stood up and and shake his leg and insisted to wake our kids up. So, we woke our kids up and asked them to look the officer.

Then, he slowly took his own sweet time to chop the passport.

The overall behavior of this person is unacceptable. This will definitely affect the overall image and tourism in malaysia given the frontline officer is not up to certain quality.
