I was contacted by Marybeth Ingraham from International Cruise and Excurtion Gallery Inc, d.b.a Government Vacation Rewards. I am a retired military soldier, so I really thought that this group took care of military personnel as they claim they do. Marybeth reassured me that she will be there for me anytime that I decided to book a trip or cruise. I was also promised that they have thousands of resorts all over the world and that members accumulate points which would lead to free resort stays and cruises. I have tried to book the so called free cruise, only to be told that I would have to pay taxes and fees which would amount to the price of a regular cruise. Furthermore, those so called free cruises only go to Canada and New England. I paid $3,500.00 to upgrade at which time Marybeth stated that i could use this "vacation cash", which is my own money to buy down a flight or cruise. I called to book a flight and was informed that I could only use $100.00 towards a cruise each time and not airline ticket. Marybeth stopped answering my phone calls or returning my messages. They do not tell members that some resorts can only be used in Mexico, therefore, they end up taking back the free resort offers and free cruises if they are not used by a certain time. I have made several attempts to speak with a supervisor to get my money back, but was unsuccessful. The military needs to investigate International Cruise & Excurtion since they are doing business under the guise of Government Vacation Rewards.
