My girlfriend was a model on this site up until today. She had done webcam modeling before and was semi-successful with it. She signed up with internetmodeling.com because of the good reviews it had. After a couple weeks she signed on to do live cable shows contracted through internetmodeling.com through hiring manager Janet Ross and a producer named Ben. She ended up being a regular on the cable shows and was in high demand to keep doing it. According to Janet and Ben my girlfriend had earned about $90,000 from the cable shows in a month but the cable station owners had some policy about only paying the models $60 a week. And according to Janet there was no legal way they could get them to pay the full amount at once, or even just more than what they were offering. According to Janet as long as they were paying her something there was nothing they could do. Then 2 weeks goes by and the cable station owners had paid her nothing. So based on what Janet said we can sue now, right? Nope. Janet says we can't. Well, we could, if Janet would supply my girlfriend with some kind of document showing she earned $90,000 from the cable station owners. But she didn't/won't. So where did that money she earned go? Surely these cable station owners are paying Janet for providing her models to the stations. Anyway, my girlfriend called Janet today and told her she's not going to keep doing a job she's not getting paid for. And Janet fired her. Fired for demanding payment for doing a job. If that's not a scam I don't know what is.
