,1. I have a bond with ITHALA bank since 2003, I took a home loan on a 20 years repayment term. I have learned lately that the repayment term has been changed into 30 years without my approval.

2. I bought a house for R 154000 in 2003. There has been an attempt to attach my property and get a court judgment without being informed of legal action being instituted against me due to shortfall in repayment. That led to expenses to my bond. account. Although I was not residing in the address due to work I Thala had all my contacts and my emails that used before to communicate with me when there is a repayment shortfall but that time they did not used those contact to inform me about legal action due to shortfall

3. The bond was R 154000 I have been paying for more than 15 years, instead of seeing the decrease of deduct it has increased up to approximately R 200000. I am not happy with the response I got since I am supposed to be left with something less than 5 years based on previous 20 years we agreed on. Repayment has been deducted from my salary from KZN Department of Education. In 2013. There was a little descrapences took place in 2013 when I change employer moving to Coastal KZN College TVET college. iN 2016 i be employed by the state but I never stop to pay my bond..

At empangeni ithala there's never been a good service.consultant 5 today we were long on the line but the consultant came in ignore people who were sitting and waiting on the line and attended friends who he was communicating with on the phone privately with no excuse to us first comers.service is very poor sometime I would sit for hours not attended while they are busy on the phone or gossiping
