Last week I went onto itshd.com site to see whether I can watch a movie I was looking for, they then asked me to join a free 5day trial and in their terms and conditions it stated that they would not deduct any money for that specific membership, even though they request your card details. I joined and the movie they said was available wasn't even on the site so I logged off and didn't worry because it was only a free trial and they stated they wouldn't deduct anything from card for the free trial. To my surprise when I logged onto my internet banking account this morning an amount of R440.86 was deducted by itshd.com!! When I tried to log onto the site with my email address etc. to see whether I can cancel and request a refund seeing as I only joined the "FREE" trial they didn't even recognise me as a member???!!! I phoned my bank to find out whether they could reverse the deduction and block it but they couldn't as it wasn't a debit order it was as if I swiped my card. only option I had was to cancel my card and request a new one! I'm very upset and can't believe that they can get away with this!!! Can anyone perhaps suggest how I could get my money back etc??
