My husband and I went to JC Pennys in the Mall today 10-6-2022 at around 2:15pm to return some clothes I purchased on 10-5-22, on the evening I purchased the clothes I was helped by a very sweet, helpful girl, she helped retrieve my coupon and she was very patient. Today though quite a different experience. My husband and I were at the men's department checkout counter the lady at the register whose name is EVA, was very rude to us. One of the swimming trucks he wanted to purchase did not have a price tag and another was priced incorrectly. Eva appeared to be upset by this; we told her the price we thought it should be as it was in the same place as the rest in a 70% off area. She made us feel like we did something wrong telling us she couldn't scan it. She insisted the price was right on the other men's swimming trunks before even attempting to scan it, after scanning it we found out the price was much lower. I tried to get her to scan a 30% off coupon I had and the only words out of her mouth were "No Coupon" since we didn't understand what she meant I told her again can you scan my coupon again without any explanation she said "no coupon" I finally asked her "are you telling us we can't use a coupon" she said yes. I guess she wanted me to read her mind. She was very rude throughout the whole experience first time I have ever been treated so disrespectful by a JC Pennys employee. She was not wearing a name tag while at the register so I asked her name. Very rudely she said "Eva E V A"
