Car was a lemon. Paid 18 grand for a 2003 buick with 109plus miles on it

Not honoring the warranty i also purchased for 3 years. Within the three years ive had that car i only put 15 thousand miles on it took brakes to be fixed 10 times in 3 years. They never used new parts only tried to temporarily fix the already faulty parts. Changed every blinkers in car every 2 to 3 months. Brakes failed to stop causing me to run through dangerous intersections. Also kept blowing me off for more repairs by saying they are always over booked. Gas gauge was always floating causing me to constantly run out of gas. Wrong gas cap was on car when i bought it causing air to damage the engine further. No ac or heat un car although JD cnac claimed to fix it. I have recording of ray in service department completely lying. Finally blew me off that my warranty expired. Had brakes fail again while driving hit car in front of me. Air bag nor seatbelt functioned i was injured. Car was totalled. Theres more alot more.

Fraud

I had been paying 50 extra because my due date was on 22. So I paid 50 for them to take out on 1st. They sent me a letter saying they moved my payment to the first so I wouldn’t have to pay the xtra 50. They still took out the $50 Perla says that would happen after this July payment. That’s not what the paper says. She says if she puts the 50 back I’ll go into collections. But she will reduce my payment by 50 in August slick way of fraud. I will start looking for another car immediately. Do not deal with this company they’ll get you somewhere.

Voluntary Surrendered Vehicle

J.D. Byrider are scam artist I rather deal with the people that call me everyday saying I owe them money from 15 years ago then them. I bought a car from them back in 2014 and was told that the loan would only be for 36 months at max and that I would be able to trade the vehicle with a year and a half. When I purchased the vehicle because honestly I tried to tell them that I had to think about it and my husband and I had to discuss our options they didn't give us a choice. It was here this is what you can afford which was a 2007 Ford Taurus with over 80,000 miles on it. The vehicle at that time was worth 4000.00 Yes I understood that there was a higher interest rate, however; when we tried to read through the paperwork the guy was rushing us through it so we couldn't read what we were signing. The first day I noticed there was something wrong with the transmission but kept getting told no there is nothing wrong with it. Finally almost 6 months of having the vehicle our transmission went on the car. I kept paying on it because I honestly needed the car. Until I noticed that my payoff amount was not changing and then I remember the sale person saying we could trade the vehicle in a year and half. But something that didn't sit right was the guy from CNAC said oh you won't ever be able to trade the car in and now I understood why. It is now almost 2 years later and them NEVER reporting to credit agency like they promise but because I worked hard on my credit I was able to get a brand new vehicle. But low and behold they wouldn't take the trade of the Taurus. The whole funny thing about this is that the Taurus was a POS the electrical went on it and they wanted me to pay 50 per hour for them to fix it plus all the electrical wiring. I knew right then that the car had to go. I surrendered the vehicle and was told well just so you know your car will be sold and then whatever is the balance you are responsible for. We will take you to the magistrate and have wages garnished (nice try my state doesn't allow it). I am contacting my lawyer tomorrow because I REFUSE to be a victim of their scam and I am done putting money into a vehicle that isn't safe for MY children. If anyone is interested in a class action lawsuit who have had the same issues with them. Please reply.

Unreasonable business practices

I have heard numerous complaints from different people in different States about JD Byriders business practices. I read the comment above from an individual defending the business and I had to respond. More than likely this is a person whom is employeed by them, employed at a similar business or someone who has simply not had any dealings with this place. Not all people who have bad credit are bad people. There are bad people with good credit. People with bad credit are usually people who have very limited income and have made mistakes unintentionally, trying to survive in this money hungry world.. JD Byrider uses this against the people who walk into their business.. They only go through the finer details of the loan contract as they are hurrily going through the 50 single spaced typed pages of the contract. Most people who walk into this place are either naive or desperate for a car. If they think they can possibly come up with the payment and are approved they take it. A car is necessary to get to work to pay bills and buy groceries. JD Byrider knows this as well. Yes the customer agrees to the unfair terms of the contract without really realizing what they are agreeing to. But By rider has had a little more time to understabd the terms of the agreement. They are the one who come up with the terms. Is it the customers fault that they walk into a business and expect to receive fair business practices, similar to those at other car lots? I received an intent to reposess letter after only being 4 days late. Other dealings with other car dealers allow two months. Seems a little more reasonable. Even people with good credit could find themselves paying a bill four days late, don't you think? Even a formal eviction notice from a judge allows 30 days.. And we know that if we are late on our electric bill four days they arent going to turn our power off.. JD By rider already charges 100 percent profit off of their used cars and the payments are no less than what you would get with a brand new car with a regular warranty. So they are benefiting fully. How are they trying to help those who have made mistakes? This is their motto but they seem to make it harder on people and are not willing to work with the people they lead into their business with the tactic of helping those to rebuild credit and getting people back on the road.

Horror story

Hi
We purchased a car from them not saying where or when, but anyways, there was one month that we couldn't or had a hard time paying one of the reps told us that was ok, and she would notate it, and that we could pay the following week, well we don't know what
happened but they called later and requested the payment asap, my relative had to pay on it, now there are numerous things wrong with it and guess what? The warranty expired about 1 month before, they offered a sum of money to the repair shop but that repair shop hasn't seen a dime of it, if they DO Not do what they promised in writing we are going to sue them for fraud, we'll know more by Monday but so far not impressed, and I do believe the first consumer on this page was right that no grace period is a fraud issue. Not only that but we are going to sue the owner of that place, most of these places are franchises I found out. Not impressed so far, and not only that because of all of this we can hardly pay on our rental, I will report them to the BBB also and State Atty's Generals office for not doing something they said they would do, we'll see, I will update later.
