faulty agreement
I was given faulty assurance by Ashford university to join and sign on in order to re ieve my Bachelor Degree in Psychology. I Jennifer Marquez, was told that my application for financial aid was approved, and that all of my courses were approved and covered by financial aid. Because I was told not to worry aboutbeing charged any money for attending aAshford University, I agreed to sign agreements to attend full time courses. Three months into attending I was being told there was no financial aid approved for my classes and I would be charged full cost of classes. I made it clear I was in no position to pay any amount of money for continuing my education. Ashford University deliberitly lied to me by assuring me I would not be charged any monies, yet now I have a collection agency contacting me threatening me that I need to pay 400+ dollars a month in order to clear the debt Ashford University is saying I owe. Ashford University commited fraud by assuring I had all of my courses covered by financial aid. The debt needs to be dropped immediately or I will file suit.
