brakes

on 9/5/21 i went tojiffy lube in downey at 7501 firestone blvd 90241 for brake service work order 20 invoice number 104549 they replace rotors and pads for front and rear wheels and few days later i started to here rubing noise every time i press the front brakes and the rear brakes, i took car back told them the problem they went on test drive and said the here nothing and if i here noise give it a few days, so i gave it a few days like a week and noise still their and took car back ask them to test drive again with me in car so i can let them here what i was hearding they said no they have to do it along company policy so i went to another jiffy lube in lakewood they did test drive and told me they to heard the rubing noise and go back to them that done the work, so i went back to jiffy lube on firestone and told them the other jiffy lube heard the noise why cant you. then i ask them why wont you just replace what you have done because their is something wrong their, they reply we just cant replace things just because someone here a noise, refuseing to honor warranty, i rather you view this first and address it before it is taken to the better business bural

Transmission Service FAIL

7/19/21 I took my GMC Sierra pickup in for an oil and transmission fluid change. I requested the same I’d always used (Pennzoil Synthetic 10W-30, I thought), which is what I’d requested the first time or two (or three) I brought the vehicle in for service at this location many years prior. I told them to put the factory-recommended transmission fluid in which is Dextron 6. Employee said he’d “take care of it.” Was told after servicing there could be some air in the transmission and to bring it back if more fluid needed to be added. Truck began slipping as I drove it out of the parking lot so I considered it might be air. I made it back to my business and made it home that evening while the transmission continued to slip and jerk. It was most prevalent when accelerating and stopping. The slipping and jerking grew progressively worse.

7/20/21 I called and asked for the manager; was told he was out and they’d have him call me back. He did not.

7/21/21 I called and asked for the manager; was told he was out and would get back with me. He did not.

7/24/21 My vehicle completely quit in the middle of a busy thoroughfare and I had to have it towed to a transmission shop.

7/27/21 A transmission shop manager said the transmission was contaminated by something other than transmission fluid, it was destroyed, and it could not be repaired but must be replaced.

7/28/21 I had vehicle towed to my business.

7/29 – 8/1/21 I personally removed the filter and replaced it. I removed all the fluid and replaced it two times in an effort to flush out whatever JL put in it.

8/9/21 I went to the JL store, the assistant manager met me in the parking lot before I could get to the door and said the manager wasn’t there. I began telling him the story and he said, “Just wait.” He then walked into shop, I saw him talking to another employee who then came out and introduced himself as the manager. I told him what had transpired, he said, “One moment, I need to call someone,” and left me standing in the parking lot. I slipped into the office out of the heat, he was at the service desk and said, “We’re going to refund all of your money for this. You’ll get a check in the mail.” I told him my transmission wasn’t working right and according to a transmission shop I had it towed to, your company contaminated it with something other than transmission fluid and it’s ruined. I showed him a picture of the fluid that they’d put into it and he didn’t comment. I asked him if all they were going to do was refund the money and he didn’t respond.

8/10/21 As per employee, they use Pennzoil Synthetic Gold 5W-30, 5W-20, and 0W-20 – not the 10W-30 I had originally requested and prefer. He also stated they stock Dextron 6 transmission fluid.

JIFFY LUBE FAILS
1. The oil filter was not tightened and leaking.
2. I discovered 8/9/21 that the Pennzoil 10W-30 I’d requested wasn’t used in the many years I’d brought the vehicle in for service one of their stocked weights. I’d never been asked if I wanted that or told it was being substituted.
3. The old transmission fluid was not removed fully/correctly (if at all).
4. The vehicle requires Dextron 6 transmission fluid, Dextron 3 was on the invoice, and what was used was obviously neither.
5. The transmission was contaminated with what appeared to be motor oil.
6. I was charged for changing the filter in the transmission, but it was untouched.
7. My calls were not returned.
8. The assistant manager lied and said the manager wasn’t there.

Jeff Lube

I went into Jeff lube to get spark plugs change came out with my car not working the manager took care of me . Let me begin he told me I will need to change wires also this is a nightmare . I going to take this hire because I need to rent a car know to get to my apt Monday morning. I need my 311.65 dollares

PRICING

I CANT BELIEVE I HAD TO PAY $76.00 FOR AN OIL CHANGE IN A 2005 MONTE CARLO THATS A RIP OFF. IVE USED YA'LL SEVERAL TIMES FOR THIS SAME SERVICE ON THE SAME CAR AND IT HAS NEVER COST ME THAT MUCH BEFORE. BUT OF COURSE YOU EMPLOYEE COULDNT FIND ME IN YOUR COMPUTER BUT THATS OKAY I HAVE MY RECIEPTS THEN IT STATES THAT YOU VACUUMED MY FLOORS THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. WHEN I ASKED YOUR EMPLOYEE TO EXPLAIN SOMETHING ON MY RECIEPT HE COULD NOT. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND I WILL NEVER RETURN. JIFFY LUBE NEED TO BE UPFRONT ON HOW MUCH AN OIL CHANGE IS GOING TO COST.MY NAME MICHELE BACON 405-488-4040 IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO ME ABOUT THIS

I have a fleet vehicle that is to be serviced by a jiffy lube. Its been to many different ones. Today the tech told me that it wasnt in his system and i explained that its been to this very location more than 3 times. He acted like i was a complete moron.
After that they didnt wash my windows or vacuum the truck out, even though it states on the reciept that its complete. But they did manage to leave a dirty paper towel on the floor for me.
when it was all done another tech that was completing the bill told me that i had been warrened from the office that i was bringing in the vehicle too often around 4k miles.
I think it clearly states on the prior reciept that its been the 7500 they ask for.
So clearly dont look into it yourself just tell the customer that they have know idea how to read a window sticker.

Miss placed air cover

Had oil Changed and air filter checked. Drive down highway engine started running rough and died it was apromiatley 4000 miles latter. Took to a ford dealer they found air cleaner top was installed wrong causing xtra dirt and debrie from highway to by pass air cleaner plugging up air senssior cost $325.00
Went back to jiffy lube just getting run around

My Name is Gioconda Gutierrez on March 10 went to jiffy lube Burbank to the company to change the oil in my truck suv toyota rav4 2002, and after 3 days on my way to my work on the 13th of March, the truck was damaged in the five southern freway pulling the oil below, as the car mechanic jiffy lube, they did not filter well.

therefore the machine was broke and total loss
