scam for 16.00 on winning sweepstakes lie

i recieved a letter via us postal that said it was legal documents inside to open immediatly.. it stated i was a final in a seeepstakes foe 2.0 mil...or 1.3 if i took a lump sum. i had to pay 12.99 to 16.00 to register my prize number and did so...i looked up this on internet after mailing ( story of my life) and it was full of complaints about fraud! may need to sue company with the other people involved in scam...
