I was selling my car on auto trader classics.com for $5000. Daniel scott mcadams contacted me and said he owned an auto dealership and wanted my car. He sent me a check by fed ex on a thursday, the name on the envelope was from Kelly lawson and he said this was his secretary. The check was for $7000. I tried to deposit check. On monday he contacted me and wanted me to wire $1900 through Western Union, to someone name Penny Holbrook in Oklahoma City, who was the "shipper" for the car. He tried to convince me the check was good and I needed to send the money Monday. I told him I would not do anything until check cleared. On wed, the bank withdrew the check and said the account was "closed". According to scambook, this couple has already ripped two people off for $2000 each. Kelly Lawson is the common demoninator. There was also a gmail of Luke Cooper attached to one of the emails. Beware, this is a car buying scam.
