I have called 7 local refrigeration repair companies One repair company came and told me the compressor is shot and not worth repairing due to being an LG. None of the other six will come and service my refrigerator due to the LG compressor
And their previous experiences with them. Upon doing more research it appears to be fruitless To have Sears come. They want $149 to diagnose it. Documentation shows that the next compressor will not last any longer than the first one. There are class action lawsuits that have already been settled against the LG refrigerator company which is the same compressor that is in mine. I paid $1834.33 for this refrigerator and extended warranty on August 2, 2017. The refrigerator quit working February 16, 2021 due to the compressor. I lost over $300 worth of food. I feel entitled to some reimbursement!!
