We purchased a Kenmore Elite in May of 2015 and have had nothing but problems with this unit! The drain behind/under the crisper drawer continuously froze up and leaked water and made a mess. i have to sop up the water that melts every day or so and remove what ice I can. We cannot even use that drawer or space any longer. We contacted the service dept. at Sears/Kenmore and they said they could not help us!! We hired a local repairman and he did repairs three (3) times in the just 6 years that we have owned this fridge! In the the past, I have had refrigerators last for 30+ years with absolutely no problems. Having heard good things about this refrigerator (I should NEVER LOOK AT THE WEBSITE WHERE IT COMES FROM) we purchased a special order with Bisque color to match our kitchen. We paid a lot of money for this piece of crap and are very unhappy with the outcome, which was to go ahead and get another refrigerator from another company on the suggestion of repair people. I would love to get some of my money back for the lost food, lost money paying service tech and lost money buying this "lemon." If there is a class action suit, I will get involved! This is just unacceptable for a refrigerator! They should last at the least, 10 years! Any suggestions would be helpful!
