I received a letter from Kia Canada indicating that my Kia Stinger GT 2020 was being recalled as a result of the RC137 campaign where the car could overheat and burst into flames. I called Kia of Newmarket to arrange an appointment to remedy the situation. They said they didn’t have the part and I was supposed to call Kia Canada. I did call Kia Canada and was told someone would call me back. Still haven’t heard.
My concern
I have a brand new car with a 5 year warranty plus I purchased an extended warranty to take me to 10 years (2030)
The vehicle has 22,000 kilometres and was purchased in February 2020
Why don’t you have the required part in stock? Why haven’t you reached out to your valued customer to assure him that the situation will be remedied.
Request
Please get the required part from Korea or the US. Have Kia of Newmarket call me when the part comes in so they can fix the very serious issue!
