Has anyone else noticed that since King Soopers switched to Heritage Farm's Chicken that the chick breast taste like fish?

My wife and I had been devoted King Soopers shoppers for 35 years and we buy lots of chicken leg hind quarters, but since King Soopers switched to Heritage Farms leg quarters it has been a disaster. The first thing I noticed was the large quantity of water and blood inside the packaging. There never was liquid sloshing around in the packages before. Then Heritage farms uses the pad with absorbent beads which are fully absorbed with liquid adding a lot to the weight of the packaging. There is about a pound of weight in just the absorbent material alone. I took pictures, I tore open the pad and I could fit half of the beads the size of a baseball in the palm of one hand. I pay by the pound for the chicken so one pound of liquid soaked beads is the cost of a pound of chicken. I went to Safeway to compare and they use a light thin pad with no water or blood in the packaging, this is clearly a ripoff.

Lately I noticed there is less visible liquid in the Heritage Farms packaging but the beads are still heavy. I told my wife to stop buying leg quarters from King Soopers because they are ripping us off. She is resistant because she gets additional discounts with her points, but this last time I opened a package and there was red stuff that looked like paprika sprinkled on one portion of the meat, the other package was rotten before the expiration date. I took those back to the store and immediately bought the Safeway brand which smelled very fresh. I have to put my foot down. We are wasting our money on water and blood soaked beads not to mention that we will get deathly sick if we continue to eat the Heritage Farms meat.
