The same thing happened to us. I felt bad for the young lady and bought a magazine subscription. When I saw the comments here I cancelled the check immediately and sent a request to cancel to La Familia. I noticed that the young lady put the wrong date on the contract, she backdated it by 2 days which only left me 1 day to cancel since you can only cancel the transaction up until midnight of the third business day. I still feel bad for the young people who do this to get off the streets but I don't want to be ripped off either.
