Delivery not evn close to schedule

We purchased our sectional from Bad Boi on Kennedy ave. On July 20/2018 and the manager Paul Talylor assured us that we would get delivery on August 4th. That seemed reasonable so we went ahead and agreed to this and he even wrote it on the billl of sales.( aug 4)

We then arranged to have our old sectional removed and donated to charity on Aug 3rd, one day before the new sectional was to arrive.

On Aug 4 we called the number for the delivery service to find out the aproximate time the sectional would arrive. Much to our surprise the Bad Boi delivery service told us they did not have a delivery for us today. When we called the store we were told that they did not have it in stock and that we would have to wait until August 18th to get our sectional.
The store coould have done us the courtesy to call us and inform us that it would take an additional 2 weeks to receive our sectional!
We could have kept our old sectional until the new delivery date.

Now we have an empty living room in the middle of summer with company visiting and nowhere to sit...

Thanks Bad Boi, now that’ s what I call customer service!
E mailed the senior management and have heard nothing.


To recap:purchased on July 20th.. to be delivered on Aug 18. If you want to buy furmiture from Bad Boi be prepared to wait a very long time for your delivery and it will be subject to change WITHOUT NOTICE,

People from Customer Service Department are horrible

I have purchased a recliner from Bad Boy and reported last July 25th the issue. I sent a picture to Customer Service and told them that seams of the leather sofa on the right hand side was separating. Since then, I have been continuously contacting the Customer Service and have spoken to several people. I have received different and inconsistent answers. I have requested if my concern can be escalated to a Customer Service Manager and one employee told me (and his name was Peter) that we will escalate the issue and will require 48 hours for the Customer Service Manager to respond back. I did not get any call from the Customer Service Manager. In fact, when I called back again the same day, I found out from another Customer Service employee that Peter never initiated the escalation process. Again, she told me that she will start the escalation but, again, I never got any call from the Customer Service Manager. After two and a half months on September 30, someone from Bad Boy picked up the defective sofa for repair. Three week after, On October 19, I called customer service for an update. The next day, on October 20, almost three months after I reported the issue, they have advised that the defect cannot be repaired. It took me a lot of calls and time to get feedback from Customer Service and I find these people liars and providing false statements. I called directly the office of Mr. Blayne Lastman on October 20 and a lady answered the phone. I told her about my very bad experience about Customer Service and the attitude that I have received from those people. All of them has advised that they have started the escalation but I never got any call from the manager ( her name is Renzi/ Renza). I told her that if she can call me to discuss this issue. To my surprise, she (Renzi/ Renza) told me that she never got any escalation on the issue.

The people from Customer Service are not professional and provide false statements to customers. My experience with them turns out to be very very bad. I cannot stand people lying on the phone. I would like to get refund on the items I have purchased from this this company. The owner deserves to know how terrible the people from the Customer Service are.

Lastman Bad Boys

I bought a new home in November 2014 and thought it would be a great idea to purchase new furniture. I thought it would be a great idea to visit Lastmans Bad Boy in Barrie to purchase my furniture. I found the perfect couch set and decided to buy it that day (November 11,214) I was assured they had stock of the items. I paid for it all in full including delivery for the 10tb of December. This would allow for my new furniture to come a few days after my big move. Not thinking anything of it I got rid of my old furniture so I wouldnt have to worry about it later. On the 8th of December I recieved a phone call from Lastmans advising they had no stock of my furniture and I might not be receiving it until after Christmas. I HAVE NO FURNITURE.... I called to complain and got the run around by one of the store managers. I questioned why they even bothered to tell me they had stock only to sell my paid for stock to "get a sale".. I was finally advised my furniture would for sure be delivered on the 17th which it was. However the delivery guys left me with the HUGE cardboard boxes they came in in my driveway. I called Lastmans to enquire about the taking away of the cardboard and they advised one has to specify this at the time they pay for delivery. No extra charge to take just have to specify... WTH?????? Would you not think that common sense would tell a person or company that NOBODY wants the cardboard the couches come in??? Where is the service here??? I will never shop at this business ever again and I will be sure to tell all my friends and coworkers which consist of thousands of people to NEVER shop at Lastmans... Unbelievable.. My whole experianced with this company was terrible...

P.S: it took me 1.5 hours to cut all that cardboard up....

They have my money & won't deliver my items

I purchased 2 rooms of furniture from Bad Boy, London ON Oct/13/12. First of all the sales girl misquoted the price of the bedroom suite-it was actually $200 more. This was not imparted to me until we were making up the bill of sale. I paid the extra-giving her the benefit of the doubt (big mistake) I also purchased a 7 pc. dining suite & was given assurances that all items could be delivered at one time, within 3-4 weeks. The sales girl even wrote it on the bill of sale. Started getting calls to take early delivery-Nov 6/12. Now, this is a week day & I couldn't do it so we agreed on Saturday, Nov 3/12. I was speaking to the warehouse & confirmed all items were there & everything would come in one day. So...got rid of all the old furniture (am sleeping on the floor, all clothing,etc in bins) I had promised to be ready & I am. Got home Nov 1/12 (6pm) and find a message from the Bad Boy saying a problem, no dining suite. Called the store immediately & eventually got a man who said he was the manager but would only identify himself as AJ. He tried to verbally bully me several times-not at all accommodating or behaving in a manner that spoke of resolution. Said he would make some calls, look into it & call me back. I reminded AJ that his own paperwork & sales clerk assured delivery withing 3-4 weeks & he responds by saying that's approximate. I suggested we might have to just reverse the transaction & I'd have to get furniture elsewhere & he said he would not do that. He didn't call back so, I called again after work Nov 2/12 only to find that AJ was gone for a week. One of the clerks confirmed what I already suspected-somebody else got my dining suite, there were no more left & they had no idea when it would be available. I spoke to a man who said he's the manager (Mike Pepper) He was extremely rude,argumentative & told me they'd cancelled the entire delivery & no, I couldn't get a refund of the transaction so I could purchase elsewhere. This, in spite of several messages left during the afternoon, confirming at least my bedroom suite was enroute. At this point, I'm not sure what's happening. They have nearly $2000 of my money, I have no furniture & nobody seems to be available to resolve the issue. I am pretty sure I've be defrauded of my money & I'm absolutely terrified of what may be delivered if/when they ever decide to send something my way. To add insult to injury--they are reminding me that if I don't make myself available if/when they decide to deliver something, I will be charged additional delivery costs & it's very clear that they will decide if/when I ever get anything-my availability or inconvenience seems not to matter at all. I'm at my witts end & don't want a legal battle. I should have gone to Teppermans! If you can advise of any course of action I could take that has worked with this store, I would be most appreciative.
