I bought a Grandfather clock, July 14th 2014, for $2625.00, after the discount, that I knew was a floor display item. I had asked for a discount, which they matched. Upon delivery, the unit was not assembled properly and no booklet for operation and maintenance. I was told to find it on the internet myself, which I did. While I'm trying to gather the information, I find out that this clock model was last built in 2007. So now I'm angry. I was sold a clock, that's not only 7 yrs. old, but also has been discontinued. The response that I got, when I talked to the management, was this. Does the clock work, then what's your problem ? We're here to make a profit, not loose money. If the clock age and model had been disclosed, I probably wouldn't have bought the clock.

My washer has been down for 2 weeks now. I've put in a service request and was promised someone would call me by the end of the day to make a time and date to come by and take a look - no one had call me. I've had to call Leon's customer service three times in 2 days cause they tell me someone will call you and NO BODY calls. I finally got the service guys phone # and called him myself he came by 5 days later (was supposed to be at my place by 4 didn't show up till 4:45). The service guys told me Leon's will call in a couple days and guess what they NEVER called me I had to call them only to find out that they haven't received the information from the service guy. They put me on hold for 15 minutes to find out what they are going to do for me. Never again will I deal with Leon's they don't know what customer service is all about!!!

I see how it works.......... I just finished reading the problems others had dealing with Leon's. I sent an email to customer service and was told the manager at the Sauklt's location would get back to me. Huh! Like that was going to happen.
Storey Home Furniture is looking pretty good to me.

We had purchased a leather sofa and love seat. Our sales representative had stated that if we buy the extended warranty that is would cover any issue we would have within the time period, and it would be a full replacement. Less than two years into the agreement we have requested our set to be replaced, but the customer service representative stated it would only be replaced if the couch was torn or ripped. Does this mean I have to intentionally destroy my furniture to get manufacturer defects replaced. The seams have split in places which do not have contact (Ie: under the cushions) It is a beautiful set, and our sales rep was great, but now I feel it was all lies to get our money, and now we get no respect, and no warranty. On top of the set, the warranty was several hundred dollars as well.
Do NOT buy from Leons. Spend more elsewhere, and save in the long run.
