Hello I’ve also got scammed by lifestyle holidays just a week ago, anyone ever got his/her money back? Does anyone still want to sue them? If so I’m in.

My family traveled to Puerta Plata to enjoy our first trip out of the USA. It was absolutely beautiful. We were asked to tour the place and we excepted. Sandy was the salesman. Sandy showed us Intravel where we could make our own side business booking accommodations and how cheap we can travel to different hotels all around the world. Well...it doesnt really work that way. I have had our membership for two years and continuously fight with this company. Now Intravel is trying to charge me a membership fee. Anytime i book travel it is way more expensive through this company than I can get online.

It is horrible that a company would promise so many things and take a families money and even if they are not happy, not let them out!
I have even tried to contact the owner of the resort and can not get a response. I am looking for any help I can get because this company has destroyed our travel experience. WE cant even afford to go on vacation because of the debt they put us in.

I too was scammed by these people. After two months of purchase, I called to book a mini vacation of three days getaway, I was told by Guillermo Castro one of their representative no availability. I felt so bad. We kept on emailing each other about the desired date to no avail. These people are a bunch of crooks praying on tourist, to ripp them off. I gave them a total of $5000 and wasn't able to even use a vacation. Whenever I requested a date their response was no availability. I am so ashamed of being scammed like that.

Need any recomendation of how to get out of this membership. If someone knows any good lawyer please hit me up otherwise im stuck 10 years paying for this bull.

On Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, while in Puerto Plata, DR, I was promised 4 day passes to Lifestyle resort for me and my family if I took a 1 hour tour. I made it clean that I was not interested in buying and was told I would receive the day passes for just taking the tour. The next day, I took the tour, which last almost 3 hours, and at the end was told there were no more day passes. My children were disappointed, and I feel cheated. I was considering staying at Lifestyle, but not anymore.

I too got scammed into this last year. I cant even tell you how many people Ive spoken to, to just cancel this membership and its seems impossible! I keep getting the run around. You need to call this person no you need to reach out to this person no you need to call this place... till Im told to call the 1st place. Ive spoken to lawyers and they tell me to send the emails and letter to these other places. I just dont know who else to reach! I know I cant give up, but I hope this changes someones mind. Don't get fooled by this scam

My Husband and I just got scammed last month May 26, 2017. they even through in a FREE week in their other resort which isn't free at all! we don't pay for the room per se, but we pay $100 ea per day for food and we pay for airfare and bus transfer!!!
My vacations were so much cheaper and less complicated with CheapCarribean!! I so regret this :'-(

does anyone have a class action suit against these people or can recommend a good lawyer that takes on these cases?

We were scammed out of a lot of money from these crooks and have never been able to book . I am not sure we can get our money back because it's been so long and we contacted an attorney out of the country and they never did anything but I'd love to stop

Lifestyles Vacation Club is NOT worth the money and I would be more than willing to sell mine at the drop of the bucket if somebody just offered to buy mine at my purchase price!! Therefore, if you are smarter than I was and are checking the site before purchasing the package, contact me and I will sell you mine at a cheaper price and you do not have to give up one of your timeshares in return. If you own another one, like noted above and they discount the price because they were purchasing it as part of the deal is an out right lie. Wrong answer!! Now we are still responsible for paying maintenance fees for a timeshare which we thought we no longer owned.We would had never purchased a second as we are both work full time and had a difficult time using up the benefits which were offered with this original timeshare. Life Style will trick you into buying their membership. They told us that they will buy our existing time share as part of our membership but when we sent the transfer documents (all notarized plus 500$+ credit card payment for transfer deed), they charged the card but never transferred the old time share. We can not reach anyone and I have sent numerous emails and made many calls but there is never a live person to talk to. They are scam. Do not buy their membership, they are fraud.
They also will show you nice villas that you can use but when you try to book one there are non EVER available. Then we went on vacation there and most those villas were vacant (turns out they will let anyone in it s they show them to more prospective customer to lure them to buy membership).

Lifestyles scam got me last week, wish i read these posts before. They really talk you up, feed you alcohol and lies. Now i cant reach anyone in DR and they have not responded to my emails. I called my cards, bank, timeshare and interval to report fraud but im left wondering what to do to make this contract null and void!!!! Wow, how naive, i feel totally taken advantage of. HELP!

My parents got suckered into buying into this scam "membership" in 2016. They promised to take over their previous timeshare which never happened, instead my parents continued to received bills for maintance fees and annual fees from them. They were also told to get a lawyer to prove the previous membership was even theirs. They also said we had access to several different countries for the same price which has was a big lie. The prices to go anywhere but this resort in Puerto Plata were so ridiculous there's no possible way of receiving any savings. I, as they're daughter was supposed to have my name added to the contract so I could book trips for myself which was a lie. These people make it sound so great when they're feeding you drinks before you sign, but everything they said was a lie. We want out of this contract and would be happy with getting whatever we can back. These people are such scam artists, please don't make the same mistake we did. If anyone has any info on a class action lawsuit we would love to get on board. Time to shut these people down.

We just got home from vacation and am trying to send my time share info. back to LHVC. We purchased a unit with the understanding that the take our time shares. I can not find where we send that information ([email protected]) doesn't link them to LHVC at all. I have called and emailed for 2 days and can not get any response. Can anyone help me?

Hello my bf and i got sucked into buying this membership as well... I thought it was a good idea since we love to travel and the way they presented sounds like a really great advantage for frequent travelers.. but I am VERY disappointed !!!!! The first time I used my membership that I have traveled to puerto plata my home resort...it was such a horrible experience!!!! The room was filthy , a. Oh gap on the door, furnitures are falling apart and secluded from the main resort. I have never felt like that my entire life! It was non appreciated as member who paid that much money just to pay being a member!!! Regardless whether I signed up for a junior suite package ... I paid a lot of money for this member thinking that I would save more in the long run , but never would imagine to get a room that's worst that being in a swamp!!!! They need to do a better job on treating their members!!!! Also it seems like even non-members have the same treatment like the rest of the members of lhvc!! I wish I know how to get my money back and if I can I wouldnt think twice of giving that membership back to them!!!

We puchased a membership from Lifestyles holiday vacation club in Feb 2015. We made all payments on time never late. After paying all the money we contacted them to book are vacation to 3 different locations to Dominican Replubic and Mexico area. We made 58 phone calls and made 31 emails to get out resevations made and all attempts and every time we got out of them was no availability, we booked out 2 months ahead of time. They then keep switching us to other representatives of Lifestyle holiday vacation club that would not respond to us for weeks later and saying no availability. They have frauded us and scamed us with nothing out of us purchasing our membership. They have even tried billing monthly payments 2 times in one month several different times, when I call and ask them about it.. they say they don't know anything about it. This company is selling more memberships than they could ever honor to the tourist people. I was on a money saving vacation but I bought into their hard sell November 27, 2011, against my better judgement, & was excited because I'm a hardcore traveler & hoped to not only make my money back through selling to clients but also saving money by using it myself! What a joke! Unless my clients or I were going to Puerto Plata, there was either no availability at the "sister resorts" or I found cheaper prices at the same "sister resorts". I booked my best friend's son's honeymoon there & found out later that they weren't put in the requested & confirmed room!! I figured it might improve as time went by but it hasn't. Now, I can't even get a response on my requests for availability!! They've also told me, earlier this year, that I could find sister resort availability on the INTravel page. Well, I can but not at the prices that my contract promises! I'm fed up and want to sue! I want my money back plus some!! I'm beyond aggravated & just plain pissed off!!

They lied about the contract ; they made us believe to sign was to eliminate all maintaince fees and did not mention any transfer fees. Now we can pay anything except the credit cards.

We went purieto plata in May 12, 2016 .May 13 life style vacation club representative made contact for president suite like zero down & zero interest and they told us like Bank of America & Barclay Bank going to provide us mortgage on president suite when we came back we got credit card that life style people applied credit card on our behalf that they not suppose to More over when I got credit card statement they charge us down payment $9800.00 & plus $ 294.00 foreign exchange charge that they not suppose to change because suite price was in US $ .I put all charges in disputes . And I want to cancel my membership from this vacation club.

I've been emailing their agent and have shown where in their contract they breached the terms and they keep playing a broken record of the same boloney. I keep hacking and told them I spoke to a lawyer. here is the contact info FYI

Just contemplating fighting this through a lawyer as we were told the same lies about using it as a business and being able to try it for a year. Money back guarantee is what we were told. Got home and tried to book and nothing on any of the requests we put in for U.S. sister resorts. Has anyone tried to fight it? And is there any recourse for those of us that fell for their scam. Am I wasting money on a lawyer?

Lifestyle is a complete scam, they say one thing and do something different as it suits them. I was told they would take over my old timeshare and they would be responsible for the maintenance fees from now on and now they are refusing to pay it and my old timeshare is threatening to send me to collections. They said that the down payment would be charged through their bank in Miami anso we don't have to worry about foreign transaction fees when we got our bill it was billed in the DR and we had $50 in foreign transaction fees. I want to get me money back as they assured me I could and now I'm in the 'resale program' with no hope of getting my money back. Don't be fooled by all the smooth talk about being a VIP you are DOPE if you give these people a dime
