Nebulizer
I recently went on Medicare because of a disability and I have asthma so my doctor prescribed a nebulizer and medication to go with. An appointment was made about a week and a half after the time I have nothing for my asthma. Lincare tells me I should be able to get it fixed with the doctor so I can pick up my meds at the same time I get machine. HA. So the first a appointment I had to cancel so that's my fault, emergency. So the next appointment was made 2 weeks later. Meanwhile during all this time I'm calling them and my doctor's nurse every day because Lincare keeps saying we need this or that or the other from your doctor. He hasn't faxed over_____ . and I call the nurse and she did it 3 or 4 times literally right then. This went on for 3 more weeks. So that is a grand total so far of 5 weeks I have no meds and the stupid machine just sits there. One good thing I will say. They are very polite and have very nice phone manners. Back to my story. I on week, I believe it was 6, 2 of which were my fault because I had to cancel. I started the game on Monday. Called Lincare, Called my doc. Called Lincare. Called my doc. Got to Wed. I told them if I have one more day I am turning my machine back in. It's not doing me any good collecting dust. I hate that I had to yell at them to get anything done. They need to learn to talk to each other and more importantly be CLEAR about what they want from the doctor so the patient isn't doing all the work.
