Like previous posters, I started receiving unsolicited copies of People magazine a few weeks ago. Rather than trying to fish through M2's rats nest of computer and voice menus, I opted for the old fashioned snail-mail method: I wrote "unsolicited" and "return to sender" on the magazines and dropped them off at the Post Office. Yesterday, I received an email from TIME INC with:

"The Post Office recently notified us that mail sent to you at the address below is "undeliverable".
Regrettably, we will need to suspend delivery of your PEOPLE subscription until you verify your address."

Could it be that easy to opt out of this scam? We'll see, but at least I have proof I tried to cancel the subscription in case they try to bill me in the future. Maybe if enough of us do this, M2 might change their ways. Good luck with this and other scammers!
