Opened a Macy's credit card in February 2016. Made $300 worth of purchases for a trip. Ended up having a late payment in June. Paid off the entire card the following month. Went to make a purchase and was told due to a late payment my card had been shut off for good. Have not used the card since. However, on my online account it says I have a $300 credit, no balance and Macys is still charging me $2 every month for interest? Interest on what exactly?? Out of curiousity i recently attempted to make an online purchase which was rejected, so my card is 100% off. I have been paying $2 for a year now for a card that has been paid off an entire year!!! This is insanity and cannot possibly be legal.
