I’ve had a Macys credit card for over 20 years. Over the past year, I have used it only occasionally and pay it off in full by the due date., The next month I get a $2 interest charge. They call it a minimum required interest charge. Interest on what - $0? I paid the card off in full by the due date, there should be no other charges. How can this be legal? If they have millions of credit card holders and charge them each two dollars, they are really cashing in. If this isn’t illegal, it’s definitely unethical. Then, if you don’t look at your statement because you’ve made no charges on the account, you’ll get a late fee on top of the two dollar charge. I’ve had this happen to me as well. So, I believe something needs to be done. I’m sure I’m not the only one this is happened to. I believe that a large group needs to ban together to stop them from these criminal business practices. I definitely will not be shopping at Macy’s or using my card anymore.
