First of all, I want to remind Macy's executives that potential employees are potential customers. My daughter applied for a posItion in the Portland Maine store and received an appointment for an interview. She lives 51/2 hours from Portland but plans to relocate there in the near future. On the day of the interview she paid for a bus ticket to drive her the 5 1/2 hours to get to the interview, purchased new clothing, etc. 1 hour before the scheduled interview she received a phone call from Macy's telling her that they had hired someone earlier in the week and that they were cancelling her interview. HOW RUDE can you people be? Is this for real?

My daughter is now out the money she spent getting to the cancelled interview and I'm sure you could care less. Do you want to reimburse her the $100 for the bus ticket? I've always held Macy's Department Stores with the utmost respect but quickly have changed my mind. I will never purchase anything from Macy's and will spread the word like wild fire what idiots run this company.
