Macys Credit Card, online payments
We moved, and I decided to give online payments a try, since I didn't want any late payments with forwarded US Postal mail, and lost mail. I set up my online account and linked my credit card, and I did a one time payment. I don't need auto monthly payment, I don't shop at Macy's that often. This month I received an email that my statement was available to view online. I clicked on the provided button and was delivered a message 'We’re sorry, but we are unable access your Macy' Credit Card account. It could be because your card has not yet been added to your Macy's profile.In order to manage your account online, please add it to your profile now.If your card has already been added to your Macys profile, or if you continue to have difficulties accessing your account, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-257-6757." It's been three weeks that I've been calling customer services. I get what sounds like the same woman answering the phone, with an accent that I can not understand. She asked canned questions, and is of no help. She forwarded me to tech support who said they would need to removed my email account from their system, to try again in 48 hours, adding back my email account. They could not give me a reason for needing to do this.
At this point I have no paper bill and no I'm not willing to have them process my payment over the phone, because if I can not see and validate the information being used, then I don't trust it.
I think whatever country they are using for support needs to be FIRED, they have no idea what they are doing. I will pay my bill in the store and then cancel my credit card.
This complaint has nothing to do with the people they hire in the stores. This is really bad banking decisions made by corporate Macy's manager and they should be ashamed of themselves for providing such horrible service.

Cannot pay online or auto payment
I don't receive credit card statement from Macy's who knows why! But I tried to pay my bill online. Every time I remember to go online it won't allow me do it. Instead it says it's time to give a Macy's a call. Hey! It is late and your service phone line is not available!!!! When I am paying my bill I mean it and I want to do it NOW!!!
I can only think that Macy's trying to fraud customers so the customer is unable to pay the bill online and forget the next day and the following day....and eventually has to pay the late fee.
Another one is that Macy's won't allow me to do the auto payment either. I have all CC set up for automatic payment and never missed a payment but Macy's is the only one. It's time to cut my Macy's card and shop somewhere else.

Over billing
Macy's billed me two dollars in late fee because I owed them eleven cents, for some insurance they say I purchased with my card. I closed my account after they hung up on me five time while waiting for them to actually let me talk in person to someone in customerservice.

Over billing
i went there to pay my bill wich was a week late, and that was my fault...however, the payment was $35.00 and they charged $35.00 for a late fee then interest on the late fee wich came out to $98.00, INTEREST on a late fee? this cant be legal, but i am goina find out, and after being a customer forover 35 years, I will never shop there agian
