Sectional Recliner

I bought a leather recliner from Macy’s in 2014 that cost me nearly $4000. I was offered by the Macys sales representative the Worry No More Warranty; to be “Worry Free”. A Total SCAM. It is unfortunate what people that work for Macys do not even know what they are selling. As customers, we mostly trust and do not take the time to read all of the paper work we are signing. I can only say, that unfortunately there are no honest people anymore. Not only Macys tries to sell, but also the Worry No More Warranty plan have so many exclusions that as customers we are not covered. I feel I was deceived !!!
Please, please do not think that this department stores (i.e Macys ) offer better service and products that the rest of the furniture stores, they certainly don’t. That was my mistake; it cost me $4,000 for believing they were reliable and they are not. Don’t Trust and waste your money, is not worthy it. I will try my best to share my comments on any complaint site I find, as I believe people should know what they will be exposed to if they decide to buy the Worry No More Warranty that Macy’s offers.

Recliner

Sales Associate Exposed my personal Info

Hi! I have been setting this aside and hoping that this would go away but I am constantly being bullied by one of your Sales Associate who happened to be one of our neighbor who works at your Macys branch in Guam. Receipt#10742437 0038 date of transaction:5/15/2017 @4:44pm. 468-0038-2078. This lady works at the Kitchen small electronics department and at that time she has asked me if I wanted to use my Macys card even as a tool to get a discount because I had told her that I really do not want to use it because I was going to close it as soon as my full payment posts. So she had accessed my account and viewed the balance and all but she has spread it to our neighbor here and I have a overheard her repeat it more than once and she has been using whatever information she saw on your system pertaining to my account to get to me by telling this other lady who lives in the same Household as where she lives. I just moved back here in Guam and I was running late on my payment at that time that I visited your Guam store. In my opinion what she did and continually does is unethical. I am not sure what her name is. Please do something about this as this is not creating a good image about the integrity of your company. Your help with this will be very much appreciated. Thunder for second credit card under false pretenses

I've had a Macy's card for over 11 years and was told that I could use my existing card to make a purchase however the card had been deactivated apparently due to non use over a good period of time. Associate tells me no problem. She can reactivate my card. I said fine and two years later I found a second card that had been opened in my name. I do not open credit cards in order to receive discounts particularly when I already have a credit card with a particularly company as was the case here. I surely don't need two.

$2.00 interest charges on zero account balance

I am up to $6.00 on "interest charges" on a zero balance. In addtion, Macy's is reporting this on all my credit reports as "account delinquent". Numerous attempts to rectify this have failed. This is undue enrichment and violates federal consumer protection laws.
