SCAM for Subscription Auto Renewal

I ordered 4 magazines for $2 each totalling $8 for an entire year. After 4 months, I only got 2 TIME magazines and 1 Men's Health Magazine....the other two ordered never came. Then they charged me another $6.17 for the TIME magazine. I called them to ask why and they said the TIME magazine was only for 3 months which this wasn't the deal. I asked for a refund of the $6.17 excess charge and they said no they can't do that. Upset at this fact, I asked to cancel all of my magazines. The representative persists on me keeping the other 3 because "it is for 1 full year". I told them I don't trust them anymore and to just cancel and I'll take my losses. She then had to refund me $6.00 for the other 3 magazines...we will see in a few days if I even get this refund into my PayPal account. This is a subscription scam...do NOT order from them. What's even more sad is that I got this deal thru T-Mobile Tuesdays thinking I would be able to trust them too.

no magazines

I bought magazines in 2021 and nothing ever came. I tried calling but the woman told me she couldn't find the charge and left me hanging on and hanging on. Finally I hung up.
Today I found another bill where they collected $ for magazines through Pay Pay which I never authorized. This was in July, 2022 but I still never got ANY magazines.

Magazine Never Received

I placed an order for Sports Illustrated for Kids for Christmas. I placed the order on Dec 2. It's now March 7 and no magazine has arrived. I sent an email asking for an update and received no response. I called 3 times. The call was disconnected twice.I finally got thru to a representative who sent an "escalation email." I have no expectation of hearing back from anyone.
This is NOT a legitimate company . They are thieves.

Fraudulent Automatic Renewal

I found a curious charge on my credit card for the automatic renewal of a Philadelphia magazine subscription in the amount of $53.99. It was scary because they had my grandmother's address in Philly, and I could not recall if I had sent her the subscription as a gift, but it seemed plausible even though the renewal amount was very high. My dad told me he already renewed the subscription for her for $12. When I called to cancel the mysterious 'automatic renewal' and get a full refund, the woman told me it would be for a less amount due to the shipment of an issue. But the charge was only 2 business days old so I knew that was false, and of course my grandmother already receives this publication. I am supposed to receive the full $53.99 refund in a few days, but this is madness. SOME POLITICIAN SOMEWHERE SHOULD IMPLEMENT RESTRICTIONS AND PENALTIES ON FRAUDULENT ORGANIZATIONS LIKE THESE - THE INFORMATION AND TESTIMONIES ARE ALL ON THE WEB! While they are at it, maybe we could have some legislation about robo-calls...

Fraudulent company

Have been charged for magazines that I asked to be cancelled. I never got 2 of the magazines the first time (Time Life ext). nor did I ever get Antique and Fine Art. I received a magazine called Home Accents that I cannot afford nor can I afford anything in that magazine. On July 6, 2021 I cancelld all magazine subscription. I was given ticket # 622073.
But they added these subscriptions to my credit card. $109.00 for Home Accents, Time Life Ext which was charged to my credit card for $54.00. and Antiques and Fine Art was charged $19.00. I cannot afford these and I do not want these magazines. I want my credit card reimbursed.

Fraudulent company

I went online to cancel 3 magazines that had supposedly been free. Not true. They had those magazines as recurring biling which I did not authorize.On July6, 2021 I went on their site and asked to be unsubscribed and to be off their recurring billing. I cancelled Home Accents magazine which would have cost me $109.00. Antique and Fine arts magazine which cost $19.00. I never received the first issue. and I cancelled a Time Life Ext magazine which cost $54.00. they charged my credit card anyway. I cannot afford these magazines and I can surely not afford what is inside the magazines. You cannot cancel these magazines. they have you going around in circles. their telephone number is 855-449-8747. you get recordings. this company is ripping people off. I do not want any of their magazines.
My ticket number when I emailed on July 6, 2021 was 622073.
they gave me magcustomerservice.com. they gave me a receipt number 257308060.

unable to cancel

I received a renewal email. The email says it will automatically renew, but does not instruct you on how to cancel. There is no contact information for the company, nor their name. At the bottom of the screen the magazine website was provided. I went there and tried to cancel, but could not because the subscription was through a third party, though it did not say which one. So I called their customer service, who gave me Synapse's phone number 877-7869-1194. However, they could not locate my gift subscriptions, which were about to renew, even with the account number provided on the renewal email. They could not find it under my name, nor my email address. So, she said she would escalate my issue to their complaint department. However, she could not give me the phone number of anyone I could complain to. I had to give her my personal information about 8,000 times and she kept pushing mute. God forbid they hired American. The customer service is overseas and there may have been a language barrier too. I'm unsure why she could not understand that I do not want to renew. I had to say it 5 or 6 times before she understood. It is unacceptable. From now on, I am going to research BEFORE I purchase. These companies are a nightmare!!! And I will now end up having to fight the charge on my credit card because she still couldn't help me.

Unwanted mags

So these folks mail us a letter saying my rewards points are expiring and they want us to try their magazine choices for free. I took the bait and checked the people magazine FOR FREE ! But then the next month I saw that my Maximum Rewards was deducted a1000 points ! Not a free magazine!
Then when I called my bank card they gave me the toll free phone number which 1 800 927 3810 and I spoke with Leanna who fortunately was very polite and cancelled my subscription with Mags. Now I have to wait 5 days to see if they return my 1,000 points back to my Maximum Rewards account ugggh

Mag. not received

On Oct. 19, 2019, I purchased a Shark vac. With the purchase I was given three months of three different magazines. It too about 6 weeks to receive an issue of Time. I received approximately five copies of Time, then they stopped.

After another week or two, I received another mag (I believe a woman's). I received two copies, then that stopped.


One week ago, I received the third mag...Food network.


The service for these 3 months free for 3 mags. is pure at best!! Customer Service really is lousy! The delivery and/or service of these mags. has been awful. I have never received the 3 mags. as promised.

Accordingly, just cancel the whole thing!!

no delivery of Time Magazine, only Fortune

Please call 919 596-8069. I had mag miles. I did not want Fortune but it was the only way to get Time.
Now I got Fortune and no Time Magazine. Cancel my fortune and give me Time Magazine please.

canceling of magazinies

I have tried calling you to no avail. I have a charge on my card for magazines I do not wish to received anymore.
I have tried hitting every option you have on your answer machine.
I am now going to call my television station and 60minutes and any other news stations I can get to listen to me.

I am tired of trying to cancel these magazines and I am not going to have you charging to my account taking out the money.

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES

i ordered two magazines from time, and they send them for only 12 months, then i cancel them and did not receive more magazines now for some reason i check my account and find out that, every year they have been charging my account for 33.00 dlls and 23.oo dlls and i haven received no magasinez since 2011 till 2017 that's 6 years of not having received magasinez, that i thought my subscription was cancel, i had some problem when i try to used my account and the number didn't match but i thought, was my mistake, this is really frustrating that they can get away with this.

Mags for Miles - Failure to Deliver

Mags for Miles acknowledged a subscription to the Wall St. Journal on 27 Oct. 2016.
Two months later, I have received several marketing emails with exciting offers for more magazines. But no Wall St. Journal has been delivered. The Mags for Miles service is better and soliciting orders than actually fulfilling orders and getting delivery going. Flakes.

I've asked them to Cancel my subscription and refund my miles or send me my money refund. Now, they tell me that no refund of airline miles is made under terms of their sale to me. Bogus. Flakes.

The name for taking money (or airline miles) and not delivering anything: THEFT. Thanks Mags for Miles, it's been an education in slimy marketing, failure to deliver and modern tactics of theft.

unable to cancel 4 Mag Subscriptions

I found a 26.00 charge on my VISA today for magazine ordered in 2015. The prompt offered to extend until Dec 2017 and I would be charged 2.00 for each for processing. I have attempted to cancel EVERY ONE OF THEM as of today that were ordered in 2015! I then called back again to cancel the 4 mags ordered on 12/11 and again they offered to extend to Dec 2017 with 2.00 billed for the year...and an additional processing fee of 1.00 on each.
Called a third time to cancel ALL/Any Mags and was left on hold...

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES

I found a $31.00 charge on my credit card. After investigating, I found it was from a company called Mag Customer Service.com. It was for 3 magazines. I had to cancel each one separately. After cancelling each one a Special Offer just selected for me was offered. I could get 3 more issues for $2.00. When I said no, a new Special Offer was for 6 issues for only $2.01! It's a rip-off that a company can just charge people for something they didn't order. There were no emails or snail mails indicating the offer. I think companies like this that just try to sneak charges should be shut down. How many people don't notice their bills and company like this just keep collecting year after year. Check your credit card statements. You'd be surprised what you find.
