Mahmut Aydin was a mortgage originator I met when I was shopping for my home refinancing loan. While he gets a nice paycheck from the bank he also attempted to "extort money" from me. He demanded I pay him a "bribe" in the amount of $700 dollars (cash money) to get my mortgage approved otherwise he would call the underwriter and have me disaproved. This is illegal and unethical. I reported him to the manager of the bank. I told him, "I wasn't going to pay him off, no way in hell". I then went to another bank and was approved without any problems. I have excellent credit and a good job but Mahmut Aydin lied to me telling me I would not be approved unless I paid the bribe money. He is a scam artist. He is thief and I hope he loses his license and goes to jail.

This Mahmut Aydin operates his scam in Brooklyn, NY. He is a HEAVY CIGARETTE SMOKER so you'll recognize him right away. He is of Middle Eastern descent and a Muslim. I met him at HSBC but he got fired from there. I think he may be working for Capital One now. Please beware of this criminal loan officer. Do not trust him !!
