Anyone has experience with the above maid agency?

Engaged them for a Filipino maid in June 2014, after months of empty promises and cooked up stories that the maid that we chose sprained her ankle and could not come, lady named Shirley gave us another mad in Nov 2014. Said maid was sent back after a week as she refused to work and cried all day all night. Replacement maid was sent in Dec 2014.

Replacement maid was good and worked well. However, problem was agent had not given us this maid's passport up until Sept 2015 (after 9 months of working for us). Giving up on the agent, we went personally to see the Timbalan to chase up on the matter and enquired what took so long for the passport to be given back. Apparently her visa was expired (as such she was in the country illegally) and agent did not inform us. After 3 trips to Cyberjaya, Timbalan informed us that her visa was expired and he could only extend for 1 month for the maid to do the required health check to get her visa renewed. Timbalan agreed to renew her visa but upon checking the system, in addition to her visa being expired, she was also "unfit for work" due to health issues (which agent conveniently failed to inform us too).

Further investigations with maid revealed that she initially had lower back problems and a growth above her breast which the agent brushed aside and failed to inform us. We have decided to send the maid back due to health reasons and how precious life is. However, we have paid the full RM14k agency fees for the 2 years contract. Agent is now refusing to refund back the balance that the maid did not serve (15 months) and instead, insisted we paid another RM3k+ to get a new maid for us and of course wait (probably another 6 months) for a new maid to arrive.

We have also bought air ticket for the maid to return to get her growth treated/removed. Maid has been sent back to the agent as instructed. Problem is agent told us to buy her air ticket for them to proceed with the exit visa but has now turned around to say the passport has not been returned to them yet. Why tell us to buy the air ticket when you don't know when you can get the passport back? Maid is still with them and they have also refused to send and fetch the maid from the beginning (apart from the first time maid was sent to the house to start work). After all the hassle that we have been put through by them, you would think the least they can do to ease the burden is to send or fetch the maid when necessary.

Anyway, I just want to know if anyone has similar experiences or any advice on how to go about these endless problems that this bloody Agensi Pekerjaan Salnath Bumi Holdings Sdn Bhd has given us since day one? They are based in Puchong.

Please do not take any part time Maids from Mr. Lim masquerading as as "Captain house cleaning service" and got us to make a check out to "Ji Yi Decoration" He is ILLEGAL. Hi there, I am new to this field. i need to seek for some solution and advise . we have this maid who has been working for the family for 1 year now. Since after 5 months working , she requested to go home (Philippines) and we explained to her that she is under contract of 2 years and she is suppose to complete. She then started to make many mistakes and create trouble causing employer to dislike her. She even made story about her being abused and not given food. Employer is smart enough to keep all the receipt of food they bought and made her to sign on every purchase receipts to acknowledge that she has received all those food. The problem is, how can we help the employer so that they won't get the complain from the Philippines maid about the abuse part? The employer is my client that I knew them very well and quite some time been dealing with them. I trust that they have not beaten or have time to bother about the maid since they are very working couple.

i have took a maid from pelita maid agency in penang. she by the name apple mac arrived on 18th march..i am very dissapointed with the agency as i have retured her due to her lazziness, stealing and lying. the day we retured we also found all my cloths and a tab in her bag.my son who is 2 has been under her care and being neglected. he developed nappy rash and has been crying ever since me and my husband come back from work..therfore we have requested for a replacement and the agnecy is asking us to pay another 3800 ringgit...this has not only cause us financial stress but also mental and physical stress...i would like to know where can i take furthur actions.thank you

To this day I have yet to get back my court award sum!! I want JUSTICE!!!

Agensi Pekerjaan PMA (Penang HQ with branches in Alor Setar, Puchong & Cheras) has committed criminal offense of not abiding in MORE THAN ONE award handed down by the Tribunal Court.

I had my court hearing with PMA on 4th September 2014. Thanks to social media, I came to know of a lady in the same dilemma as me. In both hearings, the judge has awarded us monetary refund due to misrepresentation & incompetent maids who ran away just weeks into their employment.

PMA has not only defied the 14 days deadline to pay the award but has ignored appointments fixed by the Ministry of Trade & Consumerism enforcement officers to investigate their non-compliance. This has been dragging on in the past 6 months.

To date, we have served PMA through our lawyer the Notice 218 which gives them a 21 days deadline. They ignored this too!!

P/s: AP INNOVEDGE & AP PMA shared exactly the same info contents on each of their websites. Why?? Just FYI for employers to be careful!!

Just an update to my previous posting on Agensi Pekerjaan PMA - they have failed to abide by my tribunal court award since Sept '14. Thanks to social media, I found another victim in an exact dilemma as myself. PMA had refused to abide by this victim's award too. PMA is like a thug..so daring to commit same offense more than one case..God knows how many more they had victimized.. they must hv been experienced & hv their ways to wiggle thru the system's loopholes, knowing govt dept takes forever to prosecute non-compliance cases. So pls be aware & stay away from this cheating & law breaking agent!!

Hi. Please make sure that you are liasing with proper agency. Not all the agency are licensed which is registered with Immigrations. Ask them to show the Immigrations and JTK license before signing up any domestic helper with any agency. There are more con companies than a proper ones.

This is my experience. I hired a Phillipines maid last three months ago. I was told by the agency that she worked as a housemaid in middle east country. I deal with very good licensed agency. The maid has acknowledged that she worked only as a housemaid earlier. The maid arrived within 2 months time. Her work is fine but she started to smoke cigarattes in the ouse when no one is around. I do not smoke. So I can smell the cigaratte smoke easily. Then I found out she worked in a bar IN Philippines beforE she comes here. The agency immediately give us the replacement because it is under quarantee. The current is more pleasant and efficient in her daily task.

Hi. I just took a maid from Agensi Pekerjaan Hizack who offers Indonesian maid for RM 7,500.00. The price which I am getting is consider very cheap compare to other agency who are charging more than RM 10,000.00. They sound really promising that the maid will be well trained and experience one who will be available within 2 months’ time. At that time, I really need maid urgently to take care of my 2 kids who are till schooling. They have also advised their agency registered with Immigrations. I met with Zakfri, one of the manager of the agency to sign up the application by paying RM4, 000.00 as a deposit.
I did not even think to visit their office is because of the trust. I met him up in one of the mamak near Kinrara, Puchong. I provide them as a cash for the deposit. I have also managed to interview the maid before proceed with application. After one and half months, the agency showed a visa copy obtained from Immigrations. They advise to pay remaining balance RM 3,500 for the maid’s arrival such as flight ticket bokings and etc
I have given them another RM 3,500.00 as a cash payment and they promised the maid can arrived within a week time. Now it is almost 2 months, I have not seen my maid and the agency does not exist anymore. I got cheated RM 7,500.00 from the agency which is my own hard earned. I have also launched complain in police station and Immigrations which does not work out. Be careful guys!!!

I went to Sri Lanka High Commission. A fair justice was presented. If you are facing issue with Sri Lankan maid, do contact the High Commission. Let the High Commission do the counselling session. Never return the maid to the agency.

There are a few suggestions of hiring maid from PMA agency here.. I've hired twice from them. And they are kind of nightmares for me instead of a helper. The 1st hired maid pretending becoming bipolar out of sudden and asking me to send her back to her home or at least to the agency only after 10 days of working in my house. At first she asked me to allowed her having a phone call to her family every week. Since i refused her request, she started acting like she is becoming crazy and making up story that she heard voices call her for suicide. Don't want to further the problem and having headache, i returned her to the PMA agency and apply for replacement. As usual, it wasn't a free replacement policy, so i have to pay some more for the expenses of levy and etc. the replacement maid only available after few months. Once she arrived, she showed that she is so capable in doing housework. I felt happy in the first place but it started to turn out sour only after 2 months the maid working in my house. She started broke glasses every week and damage appliances in the house. I gave her warning so that she be more careful next time or i have to deduct her salary for compensation. Seems that nothing was change but she started to lie for every of her mistake. Now, it is only 6 months of working she asked me to send her to the agency and don't want to work anymore for no reason! I wonder if she thought that the PMA agency is her mother or what since they always request to go back to agency whereas all their expenses of stepping their feet here being bear by the employer as well as their monthly salary! Not the agency!!
Seems like none of the so told maid's agencies could guaranteed of providing capable and entrust worker.

I'm facing some issues with MaidWizard. The same 2 people as mentioned by Sara_2014. And there is another person named Kriben.
They deliver the maid after 5 months. Then, I had issues with the maid. Brought the maid for counselling session. Don't know what they spoke to her. After a week, the called me that she had made a report against me at the Sri Lankan High Commission (SLHC) and that I have to return the maid on an urgent basis. They never investigate on her report, but wants me comply her request to send her home. I should bear her flight cost. When I denied, they showed me a contract which I had never signed, the SLBFE. They threatened me with the contract. Then, they want to help the maid to return home. As all her salary she earned from me was sent home, so they want to transfer her to another employer so the maid will earn for her flight. I will only agree for the transfer if they agree for replacement or refund. The maid has started to work with another employer with my permit. They are refusing to provide a replacement helper or refund my payment.
I alleged a police report about the contract. Not sure if I want to go to tribunal or file a legal suite against them.

Don’t ever take maids from this thuggish agent – Agensi Pekerjaan PMA. Supplied me with an incompetent maid from day 1 with mental health issue & severe absent-mindedness with no prior housemaid experience at all, contrary to maid’s biodata – clearly a misrepresentation. Before my tribunal hearing, received annoymous threatening calls from strangers & upon court award, the lady boss threatened to quash the award by bringing to the high court. A real thug!

I was tricked by this agency. They never delivered as promised. They convinced me that they have a very good and capable maid and rushed me to pay them RM5,000 deposit to confirm the maid. They also said that they would be able to deliver the maid within 1 month but not later than 2 mths. They were unable to deliver as claim. Then they inform that due to my request they have cancelled the maid and they would not be able to refund only replace another maid. I asked then proof of my cancellation which they were unable to provide. I have taken the case to the tribunal court for settlement. Please don't deal with this agency. The promoters are Kishyenn Padmanapan and Bavani of Maid Wizards. They can really sweet talk and persuade you to pay the amount promising you a very good maid but later they manipulate the situation.

Maidwizards, is the agency that has trapped me. There are good with words. Introducing themselves as professional agency. But they are professional in trapping you. They will not deliver as promised. They will do anything as promised. They will delay in every thing they do. When you want to cancel, they dont allow return of payment. They will bring your maid over to Malaysia and ask you to pay else they will detern the maid until you settle. By right, they should ask for your payment before the maids flight booking.
