Hotel Not Provided on Confirmed Bookings

Serious concern: I booked hotel - "The Tiger Groove", Jim Corbett (Ramnagar) from #MakeMYTrip (Booking Id: NH70199282986346) on 24th October 2023 and my booking was confirmed from #MMT.When I reached hotel after 6-7 hours of continuous driving, hotel manager said we have not received any booking confirmation from #MakeMYTrip against your Booking Id: NH70199282986346 and refused to provide us any room. Due to the fault from MakeMYTrip end, hotel did not receive any confirmation email in advance.
When I called the #MakeMYTrip customer care, someone named Ajay picked up the call, I explained everything to him and also connected him with Hotel manager. The hotel manager asked Ajay to resend the booking email which was sent to the hotel on booking date but MMT customer care person Ajay was unable to forward those emails. Due to the fault from MakeMYTrip end, hotel did not receive any confirmation email in advance.
Due to peak holiday season, hotel was already full and hotel manager denied to give me any room. MMT customer care person Ajay told me they are refunding my amount and asked me to find alternative myself. I asked him to provide me alternative bookings as none of the hotels is available on these dates due to long weekends, but they denied for any alternate bookings and offered me 25% reimbursement (maximum 3000) on new bookings but they were not ready to give me alternate hotels. I tried a lot to find hotels nearby but I did not find any hotels. It was very frustrating and upset situation for me as I was with my family including my girl child.
I asked MMT customer care person Ajay to connect with any senior person or authority so that i can get any hotel room but they denied of doing so. I was in nowhere situation, stuck in an unknown place with my family. It spoiled all my holiday and fun mood and we all had to return back only mapping through the roads.
This is very irresponsible way of MakeMYTrip and I will file a complaint against all the mental harassment happened with me. They did not compensate anything for such a big mistake and harassment. I am posting this to connect with any higher authority of MakeMYTrip. I am never going to book any hotel through this platform that turned my holiday into the worst day of my life. All tired, we had nothing to do expect wandering in our car and returning back to our home as we had planned to take rest first in this hotel after so much driving and then explore the natural places at this tourist place. All in vain for a response from the senior officials of MMT. Such a pathetic experience. I won't recommend anyone about this platform after such a horrible experience. I need a good compensation against this as it wasted my precious time, money, mental peace and left all my family wandering on the roads.

Refuse to provide hotels on Confimed Bookings

Not refunding money although received from Airlines

Booked 3 business class tickets from CCU to BOM in Air India through make my trip. Reaching airport shocked to know the flight does not have business class.
Air India said that if the makemytrip checks, they will refund the money. After that more than 100 hours of calls still nothing.
Latest they are trying to get the original boarding passes so I can't approach consumer court.
Please beware of this fraudulent company.

non refund of advance towards tour package

An amount of Rs.20,000/- was paid by as advance for tour package to Shimla, Manali, etc. which includes flight tickets and railway reservation charges, on 10.05.2017. Suddenly I met with an accident on 11.05.2015 and ligament of left leg and two other fractures were found so I requested franchise at Jabalpur to kindly cancel tour package and refund entire amount. They asked me to come on 25th May 2017 and collect amount. I attended office at Jabalpur on 25th May 2017 and was surprised to know that not a single penny is refunded to me. I enclose herewith prescription and MRI report for your doing needfu as also receipts of having deposited Rs.20,000/- in cash. Kindly direct franchise at Jabalpur to refund the amount after deducting flight fare and railway fare.

Taking too long to refund

Hi,

Complain Number: NN2303117135000

I have been told it will take 5 working days to issue refund!! I am really curious why it will take so long when ideally it should be 48 hours or less!! I am pretty sure its a process delay which makes customers wait! Can you please get a move on and return my money. I deal with technical side in banking industry so please spare your bullshit of "complex regulations/techincal limitations" etc. Trust me, it doesnt take that long.

delay in refund(1 year)

hi ,
Inspite of my repeated calls to MakeMyTrip customer care ,my flight ticket
to Dubai with booking Id NN230337881576 was cancelled. The cancellation was
done inspite of calling MakeMyTrip customer care repeatedly for 5 days.The
initial cancellation mail dated 16th May and with invoice id "Reference
Number - IN1405R8S018052" indicated that i will be refunded 9273 Rs. A later
complaint lodged again MakeMyTrip resulted in the additional refund of Rs
5000(id Reference Number ­ IN1406R0S126843).

The refund mails said that the refund will happen within 3 working days
.However ,8-9 months have elapsed and I never got any refund.

refund money

Dear Sir/madam,

I would like to inform you that my ticket was booked and was cancelled on Jan 9, 2015 due to operational issues. Since then I have been waiting for my refund amount (5605 INR), I have been trying to reach make my trip as well as spice jet by phone, but with no reply. Its very much frustrating and unacceptable that even after 13 days I did not get my refund. I would like to suggest to you to speed up the process of my refund. This is first and last time that I booked ticket with this airline.

I want to have my money back without any delay. I have already started the proceedings to sue makemytrip and prosecute this company in the legal court.

ticket cant be extended but promised during booking

I have booked ticket from Chennai to Jakarta round trip with 3 month validity so that return date can be extended. Booking was

done through makemytrip.com and airlines was thaiairways. I have the e-ticket proof that the ticket is valid for three months.

However, when i call now to extend the return date, makemytrip says me that it is valid for only a month so it can not be

extended. After showing them the proof, they said they are checking with the airlies and will solve it. But for last 5 days, i am

making so many calls to them for nothing. Please help me to extend the ticket as promised at the time of booking and refund

the money for all the phone calls(ISD calls from Jakarta) and all the inconvenience caused to me. I am really suffering

mentally for lat 5 days as i need to extend the stay of my sister who is here in Jakarta, I am based in Jakarta and the phone no

above given is my brother-in-law's in chennai.
