I Googled DSTV accredetid installers in my Area.A DSTV advert came up with contact details on.I called the number assuming it was a DSTV call centre.I received a call a bit later by a guy ,calls himself Adam..They came out as I was only enquiring to get my duel view unit up and running again.My DSTV explorer works fine.Adam removed the Sater optical claiming it was faulty.Also changed the 2x 4 way splitter box in the loft.Pulled a new cable to my bedroom from splitter.The call out fee was advertised as R350,00.I was never informed about the costs at all.After completion I received a invoice for the amount of R 4582,00.See Invoice.Te installers spend an hour and 30 minutes here.DSTV advertises that installers should not charge more than 400 to R750 max per hour

The problem is the following.Martin Electronics Pty is a business situated in Marhate and martin Electroniccs in JHB are manufacturers od Sentry remote control Unitts.The company invoice is fraudulent.DSTV portals are used to make it look like DSTV service and advert.The LNB is not fauly.See invoive for amounts charged for LNB,Splitter,Call out and labour and cable.

The Bank details are not that of Martin Electronics

I reported the incident to DSTV.Nothing happened.They called the number on the DSTV advertisment and confirmed to me that these people are not for real and not accredited installers.

I was completely ripped of in paying RR4582,00 in not knowing that this will be the charge for the call out.After repairing the unit i was told to make an immediate eft payment

Please investigate this as this is fraud in the first degree.It is also to the discredit of DSTV
