Service cancellation without sms
Hotlink didn't send sms to inform me about my sim card cancellation. Previously I received sms informing me to reload before the sim card cancellation. I went to maxis service centre on 12 Nov and they said my no already cancelled on 4 Nov. Usually I'll only reload once Hotlink sms me informing me that the no will be cancel on particular date because I seldom use the no. I expect Hotlink to sms me to remind me to reload before cancellation. Now Hotlink cancelled my no without informing & they told me that is nothing they can do except I applied to other no when I called to service centre. Maxis centre told me that I can use back the no as postpaid & not prepaid. They even adviced me to apply as postpaid then change to Digi or other line if I want to keep the no.I'm wondering why service centre & customer service staff told me totally different things. Customer service told me if service centre said I can applied as postpaid then change to other companies such as Digi line to maintain my no but without ANY WARRANTY. Are they working under the same company or different company? I've been using this no for more than 18 years. Previously government doesn't required us to register our no. I only registered my no on 2004. I asked customer service why Hotlink didn't send any sms to inform before cancelling my no & they said it is their computer system that will send sms to inform customer. They just told me it's not their fault. So, I should blame Hotlink computer system for not informing me before cancelling my no? Or blame Hotlink for their mistake for not updating their system to inform customer about their no cancellation? Please refer to the attachment for the sms that usually hotlink send to me to inform me to reload before cancellation.
