Bravo series dryer pulley

I have just called to schedule a second extended warranty repair on our 2 year old Maytag Bravo dryer, Model Number: MEDB400VQ0. The first repair was 6 weeks ago and entailed a long wait for diagnosis and for receiving the new pulley. The local supplier of parts does not have the pulleys in stock. After reading about this issue online and seeing the number of Maytag Bravo owners who are having this exact same problem, why has there not been a recall on these dryers?
