Purchased a Maytag Centennial based on it's great reviews.....who gave these reviews?????This is by far the WORST machine I have owned and I will NEVER purchase anything related to Whirlpool or Maytag. The first repair was to fix this issue. $280 later, it still does not spin consistently....even when I was one item on delicate. I used a second repairman today that wanted $280 to replace the same part! I called Maytag "NO CUSTOMER support" only to be told that it is out of warranty. Yes, it is 7 years old but based on Maytag's reputation, I should have many more years without sinking over $500 for repairs.

This consumer will not have a Maytag or Whirlpool product again!!!!!!

I purchased a Maytag gas range 5 months ago. It has never worked properly. It won't stay hot after it preheats. I have had parts replaced on it 3 times, one part has been replaced multiple times, and Maytag still will not send me a new range. Two service technicians from A&E (the company Maytag sent out) have told me that the range is unrepairable, yet Maytag still refuses to replace it. Don't buy a Maytag product. I got a lemon and they refuse to make it right.
