We recently visited a McDonalds store in Burke st in Melbourne we ordered 2 big Mac meals the product was cold and tasteless we consumed it as we where very hungry and in a rush. I gave them some feed back via the web site to let them know that the experience was not very good, and below was the response from Marisa from McDonalds

Based on the CCTV footage and the food being consumed within the dining area, I don’t see any attempt to report any issues with your burgers directly with any Crew Member or the Shift Manager.

What I do see is the meals being consumed entirely. No indication of dissatisfaction regarding the burgers.

In future, if you have any issues with any products and you feel they are not to gold standard, then please inform one of my team members and they will assist you in the store on the spot.

I want to stress at no time did we ask for any refund etc we where just letting the store know of the issue, I am surprised to get a response that has a big brother aspect to it. My thoughts are that the CCTV in store is there for staff and consumer safety not to spy on customers and then give them an option on whether we where satisfied or not. Very disappointed as I believed McDonalds where a business that valued feed back.
