In recent days while working at Medi-corp, Inc, management has shown hostile behavior and not adhering to the employer's guidelines. Nothing has been done about this behavior and I am presently writing a formal complaint against them. I starting working there a year ago and everything was great. I have over 16 years of being a medical biller and assistant office manager in pulmonary/sleep medicine and decided to try a different environment to broaden my skills. Within the past month, management has disrespected and humiliated me in front of other employees by yelling at me and threating my job when I asked for a job description. I requested for a job description to ensure that I was accurately handling my position appropriately. I was told that was "Grounds for termination." I have copies of the employee handbook that was given to me upon employment which include Code of Conduct and Job Description is available when asked. The company is not following the employers policies. I had to terminate my position there due to the hostile behavior that was shown to me. I could no longer be subjected to the rudeness by management. I thought that management gives guidance on how to conduct a certain situation but that is not the case at this company. This company also has nepotism that exist. They hire direct family members and or close friends to represent the company. I am requesting a FULL investigation at Medi-corp.
