I have been trying to get my unclaimed pension fund benefits since 2016 now. I have sent orignal documentation through for the 4th time in January this year (2018) Previously a letter was sent to me stating that they need the bankmandate that was also sent to mibfa on several occasions.
When I phoned in January, they said that we need to re-apply AGAIN (FOR THE 4TH TIME) For the pension to be paid out, as the documentaion is only valid for 6 months. I again then re-applied and all original documentation was sent to Mibfa via courier.
On 24th of January Mibfa signed the waybill of the courier for AGAIN SAME DOCUMENTATION THAT WAS SENT THE FOURTH TIME THROUGH.
When I phoned they said it takes 10 days for the documentation to be scanned....ridiculous.
Yesterday the 19th of February, I phoned to find out what is happening. The call centre are not helpful at all. Idnumber was given and they were only suppose to check if documentation has been scanned and what is happening. Now all of the sudden they say that they can not pick up anything, and that I must come to their offices. I HAVE PROOF OF DOCUMENTATION BEEN SIGNED FOR - THEY ARE PLAYING FOR TIME NOT TO PAY MY MONEY AND I NEED THIS MONEY
