I brought my husband's car in for an oil change and tire rotation with a check of brakes, fluids, etc. I was told in 8,000 miles it needed various flushes, and one tire has a small leak. They never mentioned anything about the brakes! Five minutes later, I was driving down the road and I am almost hit a car because I almost couldn't stop as my foot was on the brake that went down to the floor. Then about five minutes later the brake light came on my dashboard. I managed to get home. My husband checked the brake fluid and the level was fine. When he got into the car to try to drive it, the pedal went to the floor. When we tried to talk to the location, they mentioned hydraulics and they might not have seen it and to tow it because it wasn't drivable at our expense and pay $110 for labor so they could look at it. We went to our local mechanic, who we didn't want to bother for little things like that, and asked if they should have seen it and he stated if they had a guy that had half a brain and depends on where the problem was. We tried to call corporate and no one has called us back. Don't ever use Midas.
