On 06/01/2014 i was involved in a accident with a miway client after he ignored a red traffic light.I registered the claim on 08/01/2014 with all the necessary documents (case no: C515512) .In my statement i promptly explained that there was cctv footage that will show my innocence in this matter, and only insurance investigators and S.A.P officers may obtain the footage.

I have been sending e-mails back and forth with Michelle le Roux who seems to be handling the case, to no avail! It is now end of April and I am still no further than the day I registered the claim and still without a vehicle since mine is damaged beyond repair!

This is poor service from a company who talks a lot of talk, but definitely does not do the walk! I have lost patience with your tack-ticks of going back and forth with this case maybe hoping that i will lose interest and let the matter go. Got accident last year with my uninsured car - accident involved other cars...your client was also involved. Miway approached me to pay for a ll costs involved which is R33893.83 (Thrirty three thousands)...i was also told that ecause i don't pay cash i must pay 15% monthly interest which is R22154.87...The total comes to R56048.70 which i do not have. I'm struggling to pay but i do pay my monthly arrangement but why must i pay for the interest. It this how it's supposed to be...you charge 3rd party that much which is almost double...

Thanks for taking a moment to comment and for giving us a chance to clarify your concern for you. The interest your husband agreed to pay will in no way benefit us, but is paid to our client as he is losing interest on the lump sum of money he paid to repair his car. Our client has the right to demand interest and your husband is unfortunately personally liable for the cost to repair the car as well as the interest as he caused the accident and has no insurance. You're more than welcome to pay larger amounts at a time as this will shorten the time in which you have to pay off the balance - this way, the interest will be less as it is calculated on the outstanding balance and not the full amount.
