I bought a German Shepherd grim Monroe Haus in Rhode Island. I have had nothing but problems since I brought him home. He has so many issues. First week I had him was at the vet every week starting with Giardia, to bad stomach issues, he has a bad tyroid, severe allergies. The list goes on. He has cost me thousands of dollars. The breeder does not stand behind his dogs. also a friend of mine had bought on from them differently litter at age 2 she died. I don't know how these breeders are getting away with this. My husband and I bought a beautiful German Shepherd pup for over $3000 dollars, the "pick of the litter" we were told and after being diagnosed with Canine OCD and spending thousands of dollars trying to correct it, he died at 2 years old from 100% Mesenteric Torsion. Our poor dog. We loved him so much and wouldn't trade him for the world, but he had issues. After talking to a few experts we had found out that the father and grandfather of our dog have many health problems, although they are show dogs. When wer told the breeders about the tail chasing they said it was our fault and didn't want to take any responsibility for any of our dog's genetic issues. Please, be aware when buying a dog form these people. The dogs are beautiful but some of them ARE SICK!!!
