I am often quick to post 'complaint' comments, so feel it only appropriate to share a positive resolution when a company listens to you.
November 2016, I ordered a large canvas as a Xmas present and had it delivered to a different address so the recipient would not see it before Christmas Day.
I wrapped it moments before I presented it to her and didn't disturb the bubble wrap that protected it in transit so saw no more than the image itself, which was great.
After giving the present, and the removal of the bubble wrap, it was noticed that for some unknown reason one of the frame struts had been dovetailed together rather than be a complete piece of wood. The result was a kinked frame and a creased canvas.
I emailed the company to complain and heard nothing for a week to start with, possibly due to the festive period. I sent a reminder and received a response within 24 hours, apologising for the issue and offering me two options (a) replace, (b) refund.
I chose replace, as it was a present, and it arrived within the week in perfect condition and now hangs proudly on the wall.
I may use them again in future as they did address my complaint to my satisfaction within a reasonable time.
