Something has happened to the wheat thins we have always enjoyed. They are totally different and (pretty crappy) with a powdery mouth feel tending toward a graham cracker and the flavor is totally gone. They don’t even look the same. This mondelez outfit is squeezing more profits and cutting quality obviously. Too bad. Well, I won’t be buying them again and I will miss them. The same thing happened to another food product I used to buy. Haven’t bought that one in 15 years.

I'm in complete agreement with everyone else about the bad new taste and texture of the Wheat Thins "Original" crackers. These are NOT the crackers they used to be. They have them in our vending machine at work, and are a good quick snack with a small dab of peanut butter on each one. Actually, the peanut butter actually covers up the taste! They are dry and thinner with almost fake-looking toasted marks on them. I feel like I'm eating pieces from a jigsaw puzzle. Nabisco really screwed up having these, as well as the Oreos, taken over and reworked by Mondelez Global LLC. Why do our food products have to be made by a global company? We have all the ingredients for that right here!
